What align time is required to beat gate camps?

Obviously this is for cases with no bubble.

I find that shuttles and most frigs Ive tried essentially always warp out of a camp before getting pointed. Load times or whatever is the reason I guess.

Any idea what the cut off on align time is to do this dependably?

Surely, it depends on how boosted their tackle is?

shoot for sub 3 seconds.

Of course this is only reliable if its a sloppy gate camp, in which case the time to gate is the more important variable :)

The answer depends on their tackler, their lag, your lag, and your sig.

Yes(well youre own lag shouldnt matter) but Im suspecting that there is some sort of server lag between that makes a hard cap.

IRC:

It actually came down to CPU ticks, and long story short it was still a coin flip at the optimum align time.

Real game, shoot for sub 3s. or fit to burn back to gate.

it comes down to the quality of the camp, a double inti, lock -time boosted camp will catch your 3sec align 4 sure.
however i found that most losses in lowsec come from smartbombs when gating out. at the end ofthe day you need a jump-ahead-alt.
