Patch problem

So today new patch hited and i have problem all day with the patch. First it was downloading rly slow but when i re-opened the Launcher it freezes and doesnt respond. I tried with repair tool but it also doesnt respond. I even turned off firewall but still same. Any solutions or its just best to re-download whole eve and install again?

My launcher will open and I can log in, then when I press play I get an eve icon in the task bar with "not responding" no splash screen or anything other than the launcher resuming the "play" position
The exefile from the bin folder gets the same response.
Tried re-installing the game, same response.
The game is not opening "off screen" alt + tab does nothing for it and if I try to right click the icon and close program I get a "not responding" tab open and can only force a shut down.
One thing I have noticed is the the repair tab is saying My machine doesn't have Direct X 11 when I know full well its there.
I have found old forum posts with these same problems but nowhere a fix that has worked.
Game was fine yesterday.

Ok now it works is some one playing with the on and off button I've spent 13 hours trying to sort this **** Shocked

I give PROPS to this guys! After i downloaded his eve with patch included all worked like a charm!
