Hi, I love that there is an option for us to test stuff out on the test server. But latly I have run into the issue of never finding the thing I want to test. Example, I want to test various ships in various types cosmic signatures. Usually on TQ, you find the sites you want to and theres no issues. But what I'd really like is to test on the test server, and not spend 10 hours looking for something and not finding it. Just today I spent several hours looking for spesiffic sites and couldnt find a single one, but however, I found 9 (!) 5/10 drone sites Shocked

I bet I'm not the only one that finds testing on the test server a bit tedious when it comes to testing non market stuff. So CCP how but helping us out here?

My idea would be Spawn 10 of every Anom in PVH8 since most people never go there
Set them to respawn rapidly so people can test them and state a rule that says no excessive milking of sites for an attempt at loot, maybe edit the tables a bit so people dont get excessive amounts of deadspace mods or something

That said it is very difficult to find anoms and signatures on SISI, always has been for some reason

Spawning every site once in a constilation would be Nice. I live in lowsec, so spawning 0.0 stuff in pv would not be very helpful for me at all Pirate

also dont forget wormholes, usually there is not many to find , spent 6hours per day to find a single wormhole on sisi .. looked throught four days to find only one c5 wormhole with dea chain that did lead to c1 . cant even find c2 or c3 hole browsed lonetrek, genesis, aridia , kor-azor and kador to find notthing so what is going on i continued search and found only k-space to k-space from high to high high low and low-low and low-null , no ks-ace to wspace untill last night .

the anoms are pretty easy to find but some are bugged (no rats) i did find couple of 10/10 and 9/10 in blood raider areas
tested solo navy armageddon and completed 10/10 with no prob , mjd + sentry drones + tachyons are ur friend took me hourr and 50 minutes to clear it alone (from time to time had to warp to clear hull dmg)
there is couple of deadspace sites in angel region and some in guristas but not much also noticed that drone sites swarming universe.

I've had the notion of a "content testing system/constellation" for some time, with debug agents that allow you to select missions from them, anomaly chains that allow you to automatically choose to escalate or not, wormholes of each class that change, etc. It's a question of getting the developer time to do it, at the end of the day.

Defenetly sounds like something that would help the players that want to test content :D I hope it is something that you get the time to do sometime in the future. A corpmate said; "But then everyone would be on the testserver testing everything". And I imidiattly thougth "but that would be amazing" hehe.

2498 connections in one system *might* not be the most trivial thing in the world.

I would most definitely not like scanning that system.....@_@

having a guaranteed wormhole or two in one system would be a good start.

Anything "guaranteed" involves us messing with distribution, which I would be loathe to do as it compromises our test environment, making it fundamentally different from TQ. Messing with distribution has its own issues too - the distribution system is known for being a little... eccentric, and so we don't like to try and make it do stuff that it doesn't need to do on TQ, as far as possible. The content system, in my head, exists outside of player reachable space, so we can mess around with it without compromising the space that we care about. It's just a pie in the sky idea right now though.

Step 1: take sov
Step 2: put in IHUB
Step 3: rat in the system
Step 4: install the WH Generator upgrades (Quantum Flux Generator 1)
Step 5: ???
Step 6: Profit

EDIT: for those who aren't versed in the current Sov Mechanics: Sov Guide

Step 3 isn't always necessary either, as if there is a developer with some free time on Sisi, they will likely help you by bumping the indices of your system. This is a discretionary service though that is entirely up to whichever dev you ask and how much time they have.

Perhaps you could figure out a way to auto-initialise the spawning of outgoing wormholes every 24 hours, so that the K-162's get generated and become scannable? That would solve the w-space testing ground issue in one move.

Would we be allowed to ask the ISD guys, if they have time?

3 days of scanning (over a 6 day period). 12 hours total. Alot of system scanned down . Not a single 4/10, 5/10 or 6/10 (blood) found (wich are the sites im interested in testing). Found fifteen 5/10 drone sites. Two 3/10 blood sites. A metric fuckton of escalation sites, and not really alot of wormholes.

Here is the list of systems I used to try and find a site to run some tests on.

Gademam, pananan, daran, ami, fensi, bridi, jeni, nebian, kabhara, rannoze, atarli, zatamaka, menai, chej, noranim, petidu, naka, aring, antem, sapthar, bantish, mozzidit, djimame, angur, hangond, gayar, Access, exit, Gateway, Canard, Central point, dead end, promised land, New eden.

Let's just say that its hard to see distribution beeing the same between tq and sisi, and I really hope that what is a pie in the sky idea rigth now, will be looked at. It will be beneficial both for the players (testers) and CCP. You will have people actually testing the content, instead of running around like quafeaddicts trying to find the content instead of giving you the much needed feedback you at ccp needs.

I have asked when trying to test C5 Worm holes. They have said they can not spawn worm holes or sites. however they can spawn the dead space drones or anything of the sort.

I would like it to be known that if you do not have alliance you can't take sov. wish there was a way to fix this without creating another alliance.

So yeah like my post. -Olga

I don't think that you should even suggest this. I have used the TS since Day One and I have never been able to get a bump from a Dev.

Wormholes are different. The best thing to do if you want to get into a wormhole (apart from finding one, or getting someone to scan you in) is to find the J-sig of the wormhole you want to be in (Dotlan is your friend here, or wormhol.es), and ask to be TR-ed to that J-sig. ISD and CCP have the capability to do this, but it isn't an offered service so once again is at a discretionary basis. Do not give anyone a hard time for refusing to do these kinds of things.
