Exception while patching

Hello!

I've started up the game today to get a patch, however, after the patch starts applying, I get an exception: http://pastebin.com/qv4d7mac

Not much more to say, anyone who can help out?

There's a game client running that's locked the file. Try quitting all instances of exefile.exe or rebooting and trying again.

i had a similar exception problem with the launcher when downloading the oceanus patch here is the paste bin

Try clearing the cache in the EVE Launcher. It will need to reanalyse the client, so might take a little while, but let me know if that works.

I have exactly the same problem on Mac, impossible to patch.

I did clear all the caches and still the same problem. I didn't have the problem before, it's the first time.

In the case of the patch log provided by Espen Onzo, you could try deleting the patch file if it's present, so that it's not trying to use possibly corrupt data. Failing that, you can try removing the 'code.ccp' file from the EVE Client. This will force the EVE Launcher to redownload the file rather than attempting to patch it.

So i followed those steps, the launcher downloaded the oceanus patch but it stopped prematurely at 400 ish mb of the 546mb then i got this. Tried it again and same thing.

Not sure if its the same as the last one but this is getting a bit irratating.
I dont exacly have unlimited amounts of gb to download stuff and my character is going days without training and im still paying to play. Hope this help you help me heh.

I am wondering if maybe a manual patch would be the way to go .?? if one exists

I had the same problem with the exception message appearing around 23% when on phase 3, applying the patch.

Solution in the end was a simple reboot of computer.

I usually never turn mines off, and I leave EVE logged in, so when I get back from work the client is still running but at disconnected due to down time. Normally closing the clients + launcher then re-running the launcher is enough for it to download updates successfully however not for the patch it seems. Probably won't fix for everyone but it's worth a shot before deleting/dowloading stuff over and over.

Rebooting isnt the solution for me so i stil stuck with this problem of downloading oceanus where is just cuts off at 400 ish mb and the repair tool cant seem to fix it so i think for me i need a manual patch of some sort or some other solution if its possible
