Launcher v2.1.826897 crashing

After my launcher updated itself this morning it keeps crashing.

Debug log contains only 1 line:

I restored a backup of my eve client from yesterdays backup with launcher version 2.1.655130 which starts in offline mode.

The repair tool runs successfully but fixes nothing, launching the exefile still works.

I ran the repair tool on the client I restored from yesterdays backup which updated the launcher in that folder to v2.1.826897 as well but this one does not keep crashing. Copied that launcher folder over to my regular eve folder and it's still working, so while I don't know what broke I'm good now.
