Songs that get stuck in your head

Maybe it's mental illness, but I get songs that I havent listened to in ages stuck in my head. They tend to be the most annoying songs of all.

For example:

What I Am - Edie Brickell

I Know What Boys Like -The Waitresses

Whip It - Devo

They just keep playing over and over again. Someone please help end the torment. Sad

When I have something stuck in my head, there is only one cure for me.

Works every time.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Almost forgot this one:
(It's probably a repressed memory. )

When I worked in a top-40 radio station long ago we had a small ceremony where we destroyed our station's (vinyl) copy of this song because we were so sick of playing it, in the same vein as the printer scene from Office Space.

There's a million angry citizens looking down their tubes..at me.

She has had the strangest career. She made the amazing video for Talking Heads "Once in a Lifetime". She choreographed David Bowie's Diamond Dogs Tour in 1974, and Glass Spider Tour in 1987. Earlier, she had small roles in both "Easy Rider" and "Five Easy Pieces".

But.....yeah.

I would've gone for "Dress You Up (In My Love)". Maybe because I heard it a hundred thousand times in gay bars back then, not so much the radio. But.......yeah.
