Or just make Covops cloak and nullified mutually exclusive.

but really, go to features and ideas with this.

They're honestly fine, cov ops is a way to force a fight.

As cheap as cloaky nullified T3s are, in the Interceptor age, they kind of slide down the scale of offensiveness (especially once off-grid boosting gets dealt with, and their effectiveness as booster ships get hammered).

Still eight days to Evasive Manuvering V.

And I always put cloaks on my interceptor when going to low or null.
Saved my ass a lot of times.

Just too bad it's no covops.

This isn't a matter of location - it's a matter of another broken-from-release jesus feature that still hasn't been adequately addressed since it was launched.

There are supposed to be penalties to using cloaks, but I don't see how any cruiser, even a terribly fit tengu like one I just made in pyfa - with 371dps and 70k ehp, could be called bad. It might be a bad tengu, but it still warps cloaked and has more EHP than a HAC which is a specialist combat ship as compared to this king of all trades T3 debacle.

It will fix them by demanding they play on a power level relative to the time it takes to fly them combined with their potential load outs. They're very forgiving ships in terms of fitting mistakes compared to other vessels in 1v1 scenarios thanks to overly generous stats and slots.

And don't cite costs to me - t3's aren't that expensive any more. A faction battleship costs more, does less and dies faster. This **** isn't logical.

We can remove cov ops cloaks as soon as we remove warp stabs from the game.

While we are on the subject of cost... did you forget we also lose SP when they go boom?

If I lose SP for flying a ship... give me some perks to motivate me to use it...

No, instead you simply can't attack at all while you have one active.

Why?

The current iteration of interceptors are almost uncatchable. Yes, there are a few fits that will be able to instalock a few other fits, but by and large, interceptors can pick and choose the location of the engagement, not the other way around. They're a great tool for introducing a bit of chaos to normally quiet systems because of that, and because they're

Fitting a cloak on your interceptor makes very little sense, unless you're afk cloaking.

Well it would save me the trouble of training for one since being able to use a covert ops cloak and use a T3 cruiser as a super duper exploration ship is the only reason I want one.
