Exhumers fitting problem

Anyone else have a problem fitting mining lasers to an exhumer - get the following message

You cannot fit the Miner II because your ship doesn't have any turret slots left for fitting, possibly because you have already filled your ship with turrets or that the ship simply can not be fitted with turrets.

Turret slots represent how many weapons of a certain type can be fitted on a ship. The current design is over a hundred years old, and is modular enough to allow for a great leeway in the fitting of various weaponry.

Miner IIs etc are turret based mining modules because they can be fit on any hull with a turret slot

Barges have 0 turret hardpoints because it would be too fun

Fit Strip Miners which are exclusive to barges, and a whole world better than Miner IIs. Problem solved?

EDIT:- was curious so jumped onto Sisi, yeah, there's no error. Strip miners only on barges Piccy
