SUPERCAP CHANGES SEEDING/REDEEM

Seeing that the supercaps are being altered we assume CCP will be providing them for testing when the changes go live on sisi. if they are provided in some fashion will it be through the gift redeem system? Last time this was actually better than seeding them. It limits them to an overall manageable number and gives everyone a chance to test . Seeding them will make test environment a 24/7 supercap blob. Just my observation from previous mirrors when supers were seeded vs reedem systemed the reddem system worked far beter in my opinion. Also have a question for CCP....will Titans be provided to test new dps fits for supers in terms of amount of time it takes to down a titan with various set ups ?

the drones are being changed. super carriers probably wont be seeded as enough people on the test server have them to test. titans aren't being touched. i dont know where you see a super capital change post

The change relates to fittings for supercarriers in that drone modules are now to affect fighters and fighter bombers, as well as some supers are having their drone bonuses altered.

There is precedent here to seed at least supercarriers. I don't really see a reason for titans to be seeded, however.

The change relates to fittings for supercarriers in that drone modules are now to affect fighters and fighter bombers, as well as some supers are having their drone bonuses altered.

these changes are the same for normal carriers. supers aren't needed for that. plus, as i said there are enough supers on sisi right now that a redeem just isnt needed. my corp alone have about 20

Well luckily, Sisi isn't for pvp it's for testing changes, so more supers shouldn't be an issue when speaking within the scope of what the server is for. But as I said there are specific changes relating to supers and you can't test fighterbombers from a carrier so there is precedent for it.

What is your hard opposition to this all about if not because you want to use the test server as a fitting tool?

The Haves would prefer that the Have Nots do not become Haves as their ability to drop overwelming "FIREPOWAH"™ to save themselves would be reduced as the amount of "FIREPOWAH"™ needed would exponentially rise.

Same thing goes for US gun laws, cutting edge technology, and OIL Supplies ('Murica is watchin' you).

Jokes aside, Seeding / Redeeming Supers never ends well, I'd be surprised if there wasn't opposition. TBH either way We'll see lots of Supercaps with only fighters or Titans w/ level 1 DD and no capital guns....

Seed is going to happen, it's just a matter of when.

IF they decide to give out supers (non titans) then they'll most likely just give five of each to every account (which I seriously hope is not the case as you still end up with super spam). Unfortunately, I fear CCP may actually do this at which point you just end up with a lot of people asking how to jump/SP, unable to use Fighter Bombers, a few people buying all the ones people put up on market, and a small group of people dominating in properly fit supercapitals (basically no change from the situation that's occurred since at least 2009 as far as I know).
