Stuck at Launcher: "EVE Online is damaged and can't be opened."

We have received a number of reports where Mac users receive the following message upon trying to run EVE after downloading the Mac client:

"EVE Online can't be opened because the identity of the developer cannot be confirmed."

Currently Gatekeeper does not recognize the EVE Online Mac app. This message is a security measure, but you should be able to run the app if you right-click it and select Open. You can also go into System Preferences -> Privacy & Security -> General, and set "Allow applications downloaded from:" to Anywhere, which will avoid this coming up again for future downloads.

This is not the only reason for the message, but it has resolved the majority of cases. If you are still seeing the message after trying the above process, please file a technical support ticket.
