While yes, these changes are random and dumb, they wont affect escalations noticeably.

It's perfectly possible to effectively dread blap with an obscene amount of guns skills, including motion prediction, to IV. The nerf will not be a game killer--they already nerfed capital autocannons by 15%, if memory serves, when they released the new, two-turret Swaglfar. It will just require your target-painting ship pilots and your dreadnought pilots to be better skilled, using drugs, or running with implants.

THAT SAID, I disagree with the changes and I'm voicing my opinion. This change is random and seems to generally unwanted the communities of both null sec and wormholes, in mass, at least of those posting in the forums.

I have liked a lot of changes CCP made, except those to the heavy missiles, but I sincerely do not agree with this move, though, again, I don't think it will be game breaking.

there not really random, our last WH CSM asked for this exact change a year ago. I don't agree with the changed or that the problem ever existed but its not a random change.

The only thing this nerfs is blapping T3s if jumped, but then again if you didn't die in a fire yet, you may still be able to bring more webs to the field. Change sucks, but whatever. At least my sentries will be even more overpowered after the patch. Mmm, battleship DPS and frig tracking :D

5% reduction in tracking is not a nerf, its minor inconvenience easily compensated.

This is clearly the work of large null blocks setting the foundation for WH invasions. This change paves the way for large numbers of smaller ships (T3) to pour through the more numerous null > c5/c6 connections and decimate outnumbered wh corporations. If this change comes then it is over. There won't even be a last stand when they come.
