Could any experienced industrials fill me in on how much it cost to build an Astero and Stratios? I realize the cost to manufacture may vary based on several variables, but I'm just looking for a rough estimated average from someone who is actually building them.

Stratios is about 10m in minerals. Astero is about 400k.

guess that means I should wait to buy one at current prices.
how long does it usually take till prices of new ships are "reasonable"?

I'd give it a week at least. Although on thing I did learn while in game, is it's not just the cost of the minerals to make it, the minerals are actually negligible. The blueprints you have to buy from the Sisters are rather costly. If I remember correctly (and feel free to correct me if i'm wrong) I believe my corpmate who is also an industrialist said the astero(frigate) blueprint cost 15million isk and 30k loyalty points to buy. So the major cost is getting the blueprint, which I assume is a blueprint copy, not an original (once again, correct me if i'm wrong on this)

+ the LP and the isk for the blueprint in the first place.

Yup, it's that price when bought from the SoE corp. It's cheaper from the nullsec-only corp in the Servant Sisters of Eve faction (can't recall name).

Correct. Single-run blueprint copy.

Similar to what was stated above, give it a week or so.

I'd guess the Astero will come down to 90M or less. And Stratios about 300M.
At 2000 isk/LP an Astero would be 75M. Stratios ~270M. So prices might eventually get down around there.
