Thanks for forever altering our childhoods.
I don't suppose blowing in mouth is going to help, will it?

During your 53 years as president of Nintendo you revitalized a failing video game industry and provided the technology that was the basis for some of our most cherished childhood memories. I still remember after 25 years the joy I felt the Christmas I received my first NES.

My brother was the first one to get the NES in our house and he earned it with money made from a paper route. Then he started a local NES club with his friends and even collected all of the nintendo powers which I later attained. Unfortunately 5 years worth of magazines got destroyed in a flood.

Because of him and his company my friend and I had all night game sessions involving Nobanaga's Ambition. We completed everything on Goldeneye. We had hours of fun trying to survive the fast bots on Perfect Dark. And I still have those games.

He definitely transformed Nintendo as a company. I believe they're a very old company that used to make gambling items (hana fuda cards, mah jong sets, dice, etc.) Because of the gambling connection, they had a slightly seedy reputation in Japan. Yamaguchi helped transform them into a different kind of "gaming" company. o7 Mr. Yamauchi.
