Got the following when I downloaded and installed the new version. I have never used the program before. Any ideas how to fix this?

That's the whole error report.

UPDATE: the issue was the "Microsoft SQL Server Compact 4.0..." was not installed. When it asked if I wanted to install, the phrasing of the statement before was confusing. I reran installation and it works perfectly now.

love eveHQ no errors when updating to the new version but,,,,,,i must say that loading is slow as well as things like updating api or loading a plugin(like prism) takes way longer now withthe new version.

I will make sure to make that question more clear in future versions. Thank you for the feedback, and following up on the result.

Cheers,

Fair comment. I found some race conditions related to the market cache state on initial start up that could cause loading to be slow. I will be looking into fixing and optimizing those sections over the next few days. I can't say if they'll be done before the Odyssey data update, but if not they should be out shortly afterwards.

thx for looking at it....tho i must say that i installed the first 1.12 version then after i posted here there was a new version on the website so i installed that and there was a lot less lag in loading.

now installing 2246 version and i have a question...if i now to to eveHQ>check update it doesnt open a download panel anymore like it did with the older(pre-1.12) version, is this intended?

Yes that is intended... however it should tell you that there is no update available via a dialog ( I will investigate this ). The update system in 2.12 is really simplified from 2.11.x. If there is an update, it will download the latest installer and update your installation. This is a lot easier from a management standpoint than the older system. I haven't pushed 2246 on people via the update system yet, since the Odyssey 1.1 update is just around the corner so there will be another build as soon as the SDE data is converted, ship fittings are updated, etc and tested.

I can't seem to get EveHQ to work for a while now, but I doubt it's because of the app. I can't pull the data from the API with my browser either.

The only thing I can get is basic account info and which characters are on there. I'm sure the API key should work.
In EveHQ the Tranquility status reads "updates disabled", and when I click API status it marks almost all XML fields as n/a.

Does anyone have any ideas what the problem could be?

Well, if pulling your API doesn't even work in a browser there's not much you can get out of EveHQ of course.

What makes you sure the API key should work? Are you using a Customizable API Key or still an old Legacy one? Did you set the correct access rights?

It's a new Custom API. The type is Character, and it's set for all characters with no limitations (access mask 0), no expiry.

Access mask 0 means no access, so you only get the public info that requires no access rights. Try clicking on the access categories in API management.

Thanks, that was it.
I just thought my acces mask was the same as in the EveHQ wiki picture, so that's OK...and I thought the "(all)" things were indicators that everything was marked instead of buttons that marked them all.
Best Intentions.

Everytime I open EveHQ I get the message to download this new update. It doesn't do this automaticly tho so I go to the site to do a manual download, but when I intialize the install it gives me this: http://i.imgur.com/wd2erH7.jpg I can not find anything in my Control Panel to uninstall it however, do you think I should just delete the folder the program is being kept in?

I encountered this problem (through my own fault, not EveHQ). Deleting the program files did fix it.

sorry my bad english

So, What is the primary market hub in EVE Online? Shocked

It's not "Jita", and not "Jita IV Moon 4" and not "Jita IV - Moon 4 - Caladary Navy Assembly Plant"

Can you help with query for EVE HQ SQL service?
I need to create ships attributes reference table with bonuses columns. I know, that is hard to
retrieve bonuses data. If it is impossible, then description text field do.

I'm not sure about the context here and how it applies to EveHQ, is the problem maybe in the spelling of "Caldari"?

Ship attributes are in the SDE database. A query would look like this (using Drake as example):
SELECT ta.*, at.attributeName FROM dgmTypeAttributes ta INNER JOIN dgmAttributeTypes at ON ta.attributeID=at.attributeID WHERE ta.typeID = 24698

The ship bonuses however are not stored in the SDE in this way, they are only available as raw format of the description texts.
SELECT description FROM invTypes WHERE typeID = 24698

Edit:
I just read your other topic where you said you'd need this for all ships and don't have great SQL skills, so here's the monster query to get the information for all ships:
SELECT it.typeName, it.description, ta.*, at.attributeName FROM dgmTypeAttributes ta INNER JOIN dgmAttributeTypes at ON ta.attributeID = at.attributeID INNER JOIN invTypes it ON ta.typeID = it.typeID INNER JOIN invGroups ig ON it.groupID = ig.groupID WHERE ig.categoryID = 6

Thank you. Next problem is how to convert output to table with Ship Attributes as colums titles and Ship Names as row titles.
And automate conversion for future. I'm waiting Steve Ronuken reply in the other thread before try to doing that.
