Hi all,

I've decided to come out with a char, that will do only industry and invent some T2 equipments. Could u please share with a list of required skills, so I'll put them to be trained at their max lvl5. It's fine for me to wait until it gets all required skills to max lvl, while I do play in my main. So far, I'm focused on Caldari weapons/ships and etc, so the char will be also Caldari.

Thanks

EDIT1:

Forgot to mention about it. As I'm going to train only industry+invention+trade, what kind of mapping for augmentation do u advice? Please also write about it.

For T2, you need the science skills and encryption skills required by the items you're planning to invent (see the blueprints)

Also, you'll find out really fast that certain skills you thought you wouldn't need, you actually do. If you're doing invention, you NEED advanced lab management, or multiple characters. On paper it seems that 5 lab slots is enough, but in reality you simply can't keep up the number of copies required for invention without those extra 5 slots.

Similarly, for invention, you're probably going to want to invest in a decent amount of PI skills on your industrialist (and your main, because PI training is cheap and easy) simply because the markup on most of the higher tier PI materials in your blueprints are marked up hideously over what it would cost you to make them yourself.

Even if you're making them yourself on super high tax hisec planets with low resource pools, you're still spending in a lot of cases 1/8th or even 1/20th the ISK on those PI materials. If you get a little more adventurous and produce in more dangerous space you cut an even bigger chunk out of your costs.

If you run missions on your main, learn early on what sort of datacores and other materials you need for copying and invention for your target items and start gaining faction and LP with whatever NPC corp sells them. These are cheap to buy on the market, but if they're essentially FREE if you simply adjust your missioning behavior, making your bottom line all that much more attractive.

Finally, look in to establishing contracts with people who mine. You'd be suprised how easy it is to get cheap minerals at 80% or less than Jita cost just by offering the local miners a constant buy order or good contract deals. This has you spending less on ore, and neither you nor the miner has to spend as much time and risk hauling, so most people view it as a win/win.
