Odyssey 1.1 now on Singularity - bug reports

Hi!

Our new bug reporting tools are still in work. For now please post bug reports about Odyssey 1.1 here in this thread. For problems with patching please use this thread.

For screenshots and logs: If needed put them up on any public host (but only if there is no private information contained). In doubt please wait until the new bug reporting tools are live.

Known issues:
  • Grouped weapons are using ammunition asymmetrically
  • Missions are not available
  • All popup messages are missing their text
  • The client includes several duplicated files, which cause a huge patch and will probably break the client on Windows XP

Right now I am noticing that acquiring bulk data from the server on login is incredibly slow. We are investigating this right now.

Bug: Scanner Overlay
The graphics for the signatures remains after the initial sweep. If you turn the scanner on, the signatures are there, but there's no information given until you mouse over them. If you turn the scanner off, the graphics remain, but mouseover gives no info.

It doesn't scroll with a mousewheel, or moving the scroll bar.

edit: both bugs go away when jumping/docking to a new system, so could be server lag sync issues.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

Bug: When weapons are grouped only one weapon is depleted of its ammo for all the weapons grouped. DPS is correct but because only one gun delivers the ammo you run out of ammo quickly.

Login problem.

I keep having to wait behind 5-15 minutes of queue only to receive

"The authentication token provided by the launcher is of an invalid format. Please try again or contact EVE customer support."

after authentication. Done this three times to make sure it wasn't a one time issue, happened all three times.

EDIT: Briefly, there was no queue. Problem persisted through three login attempts with no queue.


EDIT 2: I don't know what you did but it worked this time. (17:55)

Bug:

1.
Nighthawk, Sleipnir, and probably others former field CS still cannot fit more than 1 link without getting error message.
In the same situation Claymore can, and only get the error message for the 4th link.

2.
Weird sound on undock when scan activate. Last for approx half a second, is quite lound an annoying (like a radio)

Confirming this as well.

Also:

Bug/Error: Having problems with some gate jumps. I go through, and UI windows start to open, but the 'wormhole' animation remains playing over top of everything for up to 30 seconds after jump is completed. When this happens, the camera also 'orbits' around the gate until I warp or manually reset it.

Bug: When shooting at Turrets/Missile batteries in combat sites in low sec I get a "Are you sure you want to proceed with this dangerous act?" dialog box with the following detail text.

Aggression against this peaceful entity may have consequences such as a standings penalty or returned aggression. It is recommended that you reconsider.

Do you wish to proceed?

I also got the same message targeting a Serp Bunking in another site.

The 3 different sites I got this on were in Elarel (0.4). The Site id's in the scanner are KXL-160, JXL-144, and LXL-176. There were two Serp Port sites and one Serp Yard site.

Edit: I only got the warning attacking seems to have no standing or other penalties.

I don't know if this is a bug, but after the initial system scan is completed, if I don't have the probe window up, it won't show anomalies, only sigs. If I click off the box to show anoms, then back on, they anoms show up as well as the sigs.

Enter grid and you're already dead, destined to be reborn and fight another day.

small variation on the ammo bug, when using t1 crystals with weapons grouped seemingly randomly one will disappear. the guns continue to be grouped and firing but that one turret doesn't fire anymore. they don't display any damage either.

if i switch crystals, on the hold i get one less crystal, as if it had been consumed. BUT, when docking the ship, the crystal appears on the hold. (magic, magic)




also, the lag makes everything unbearable. :D

Issues I am having:

1. When in space, the windshield wiper scanner keeps cycling across the screen at random, even when it is turned off.

2. The data/relic minigame seems to be experiencing some sort of UI lag for me. I'm having to hold down the mouse button for one or two full seconds for the game to recognize the click; on TQ it's a single quick click.

When trying to talk to an agent in order to request a mission, I receive the following message from said agent:

This is not an epic arc mission, just a normal agent in Penirgman system. Also, this holds true for lvl 1-4 agents. I have tried a few and all gave me the same message.

Is the fact you can't name our own drone groups a design decision? Needs a damaged drone bay or the ability to create custom groups.

Onlining of POS modules is broken. I had a POS go offline during the several days of Sisi being mostly down and I had to refuel and online the tower again. THAT worked fine. But, when I attempt to online any of the modules (from the Manage screen or near the module itself) I get no timer for the online process. The module never chaged to 'online' from 'anchored.' But, if I try again to online that same module after the requisite period of time for it to have onlined, I get a message that says the module is already active. Tried docking and returning, logging out and back in, all modules still look only anchored.

Along the same lines, I was able to jump to my cyno beacon on the offlined POS, when the beacon should have only been anchored. That was when I was heading there to fix the POS.

Confirming this for all agents I have access to L1-L5
Only mission I have been able to undertake was a previously offered final mission of Epic Arc 'Right to Rule'

Also confirming the problems with the Security agents I have talked to, saying they've 'given the mission to someone else' or 'sorry kid, ive got nothing available...'
