Training a PVP subcap booster toon... which 2 races?

Curious on the advice/opinion on which two races would be recommended to train for shield/armor fleets. I have a perfect leadership toon and Im currently training all my Int/mem skills now. Its almost time for a change and Im ready to start picking weapon systems.

I was thinking... Caldari/Gallente? Can pve if need to and pvp (even though I dont know a good caldari pvp boat for shield.)

Any other recommended combos and why?

This character is going to be for max enjoyment and Im sure im not going to boost every time... so PVP options are the highest in priority.

Caldari and Gallente share the same guns, more or less... But the styles of fighting, and the hulls are quite different.
And Caldari are primarily a Missile race, so that puts you at training 2 weapons systems and 2 tank systems.

Does your booster toon have a ship class already done? (t3? Command ship? which race?)
That would be a factor in how fast you can get into what.

Minmatar comes to mind first. Minmatar boosts are prevalent in many feets. The ship lines for you would include Loki, Sleipner, Stabber, Rupture, Cyclone, Cane, Wolf, Tempest, Typhoon, etc. All great pvp ships and also great boost ships.

I like all races tbh.
Amarr and Gallente share gunnery and armor skills, also some drone ships
Caldari and Minnie share shield and missile skills
Caldari and Gallente share the Hybrid platforms

I guess if I was recommending... I'd go Caldari and Minnie.

If you will be in large fleets, Caldari/Amarr seems like a good combo. Lots of options for fleets and a litany of resist bonused hulls.

If you will be in small gangs, Minny/Gallente would probably be more to your liking. Faster ships and two very powerful pirate lines that excel in the small gang style of fights.

If doing a mix I would probably suggest picking the armor race from one and the shield from the other. Either way offers a mediocre pirate line but a nice mix of skirmish and fleet ships.
