Player Features and Ideas Discussion

Back when the CS's came out there was only one choice for Battlecruiser hull's to base them off of. Now that there are more choices it may make better sense to swap them perhaps as such:

Absolution uses Harbinger hull : turrets to turrets instead of drone to turret (weakest argument, as Damnnation is missile)
Sleipnir uses Hurricane hull : guns to guns instead of missiles to guns. the claymore is guns too however
Nighthawk uses Drake hull : missile to better missile boat instead of gunboat to missile
Eos uses Myrmidon hull : drone/gun boat to drone/gun boat instead of guns to drones (brutix hull makes okay sense, but myrmidon has similar playstyle)

This would add a tiny bit more variety to the graphics of the game without costing an awful lot of graphic artist time to make brand new hulls. It also makes a bit more lore and technological upgrade sense. You generally do not scrap entire weapon systems and replace it with something wildly different if you wanted to make upgrades. You would attempt to augment whats already there.

i tried searching the forums but i didnt find that thread, i am sorry about repeating an already mentioned topic. guess i should have been more diligent on my search. i didnt think to look for specific ships. i searched for generalized statements.
