This is Episode 1 of my PvP Series, The PvP Showcased will be entirely solo and generally me flying frigates.

lol @ advertising fraps'd 1v1s in local, and telling that one guy it'll be like a Prom vid.

Not a terrible vid though, just repetitive.

But yeh advertising in local got me alot more fights so can't say it wasn't a success. :D

I realise that 1v1 footage might be abit repetitive, I'll try to spruce up the next few volumes.

Didn't really enjoy that. 1v1s are fine and all that, but a video made entirely of pre-arranged high sec 1v1s is seriously boring. Didn't like your choice of music either, some of it was just bad, but the first song of it sounds like it's straight out of a SNES game from the 90s whose name I can't quite remember. Not really suited to a pvp video.

Bah wanted something different from the usual hardstyle/dubstep or metal/rock stuff that gets overused.
and I'll have you know I love music from Retro/Arcade games =P
but music not really important, can be muted if its not to your fancy ^^

As for 1v1's, It's just what I do with my time when I'm not pvping with NA and it's what people know me for in Dodixie. Made sense to showcase some of it to add awareness and potentially draw in new opponents. I choose to do it in highsec as I will get much more fights and with increased consistency as opposed to any other sec.
But again I fully understand it's not everybodies cup of tea as far as pvp goes.

I will start frapsing more fleet fights with NA and hopefully make up a video from that too.

I think its time to move on from 1v1 in dodixie and being a part of NA bads doesn't help you to have a good reputation at all.

Why do the majority of these people you fight not have scrams or webs fitted? I got sick of doing arranged 1v1's in high sec (dodixie indeed) because most people I was fighting just had ******** fits and no clue and being able to choose what range to engage at got boring fast.

Actually being a part of NA has done wonders for my reputation, as people have been around to see that event hough I am NA I still honour every 1v1 I have.

But also, I would say its rather idiotic to assume that 1v1's are all I spend my time on And telling me to move on is moot. I have already moved on from doing 1v1's as much, but that doesn't mean I'm going to say no to an offer for one.

His reputation is good enough amongst a certain amount of people,
You can say we're bads all day long as much as you want, it doesn't make it more true, and it doesn't make us care more,

People here need to learn that it's not all about awesome editing and music
They also need to learn that no matter how awesome some BS brawling vids are,
It's not all about T3 ganglinks and another alt dropping you capboosters ;)

Once again, I love that kind of vids don't take me wrong, but sometimes a nicely basic vid is good

Give him a **** break, it's his first vid, I'm sure his next ones will have more variation

I was merely suggesting that the next vid should involve some low sec / non arranged pew pew in it to add variety and there is nothing wrong with pointing out the obvious that NA are dishonourable bads and it affects his reputation for 1v1.

I agree that not all vids need to involve links backups etc. but from the tone of Axel's OP he knows fine well a vid full of arranged 1v1 is less interesting.

I still enjoyed it to some degree, just giving feedback. Take it or leave it.

I still wonder why so many of his opponents in that vid seemed to lack any kind of tackle whatsoever.

I agree on your suggestion,
Though I have to say you're wrong on your "dishonourable bads" part
Few, but some of us, honour our 1vs1's, Axel and me for example
Pretty sure anyone can confirm that

As I don't want this thread to turn into a flame war about "NA", I'll leave that aside now

He knows it, And as I said I'm sure his next videos will have more variation,
And about the tackle thing, it's nothing special, you know full well what kinds of people live in Dodi =P

I do appreciate your feedback, I have been getting similar reviews and I promise to start adding in more variety. ;)

Alot of the Ishkurs and Hawks I fight dont fit full tackle, they opt for Cap Booster instead to allow higher rep rate, something I take advantage of with my wolf setups. Other than that I usually come up against full tackle.

My reputation is pretty well known, so being NA doesn't hurt it as much as you would think. ;)

I used to offer 1v1's in Dodixie too and respect what you do. It's a good service.
