Worth training a PvE char into Industry?

Hey!

I have had plans about starting Industry again, as PvE is starting to bore me out. Is it worth starting to train this char, with no prior industry skills, or sell it and buy another character? There's no "real answer" to this, but some opinions would be great.

train an alt for industry
use your main for PvP

I'm not interested in PvP atm as I have no "close friends" to play with. There's no fun in doing PvP with random people (if I join a new corp etc)

I hear that if you play with people, you get to know them, then it becomes fun to pvp/do stuff with them.

Also, for maximum optimization, keep combat skills and industry skills on different characters. That said, it is probably better just to train your main guy if you don't have alts.

Also Industry is kind of passive, so only having a pure indy character would result in you waiting around a lot unless you can mine also.

So if I want to go fully into industry, would it be worth selling this char (5m SP) and buying an industry char or getting another account and paying the plex for it too?

In my opinion:
A 5 million SP character is not worth much, after you pay the transfer fee. It is also not a huge time investment into that character at this point. Most of the skills you have are probably useable more or less in other fields.

Just train the same guy for now *unless* you are sure you want to commit to a second account.

for 19.99 get ur self a second account for 90days for one pric train them both the pve one and the trade/manufacure one what ever ya want to do with it. after 90days if ya dont use one or the other account that much jsut stop paying or it. then concentrate on the one you are useing/playing more or keep them both open
