[proposal] Tweaking incursions

This is more like two proposals in one, but both concern the distribution of money making within incursions. Whether it be between high/low/null sec incursions, or vg/as/hq.

I've recently been driven to try a few incursions, and they're great fun, but I think there is a slight balance issue when comparing isk/hour between VGs, HQs and Assaults. Namely obviously that we can run so many VGs per hour I not only earn considerably more ISK, but also at the very least equal amounts of LP.

Given the difficulty of organising fleets for the larger incursion sites I think this needs to be tweaked slightly, putting VG/AS/HQ sites at the very least on par with one another. This would lower competition between sites, and so the spawn rate may need to be tweaked, but it would also mean players don't have to spend hours straight running the same site over and over. At the moment HQs and AS sites, for the most part, feel like wasted content.

There is also the matter of how easy it has become to create a large, predictable, stream of income in high security space without any appreciable risk since the introduction of incursions. In all the incursions I've been in, excluding a few leeroys and a (for some reason) active fit tengu, I'm yet to see any meaningful ship loss. When you can make so much money in high sec, what reason does any non-pvp character have for venturing into low or nullsec?

I understand that they cannot simply back-pedal on the rewards for incursions now, but hopefully in future expansions CCP might be able to try and draw the highest profit PvE resource out of high sec to some extent. IMHO high sec incursions should always have been quite heavily gimped in comparison to their low or null counterparts, even if it resulted in PvE toons going out to low sec in AF fleets to run scout sights it would have been considerably more interesting than having a large bulk of EvE's ISK generated in a perfectly safe environment.

Anyway that's just my opinion, I've always thought profit in eve should go WH space / 0.0 > low-sec > high sec. Hence my surprise when I ran my first few incursions, it just seems backward to me.

tl;dr = Peeps make too much isk in high sec. VGs should be on par with AS / HQ sites for ISK / hour.

Well those fast done sights have competition thus lowering the overall isk income depending on the time of day you are doing them and if it is on the weekend.

Missions/insucrion in high sec yeah great amount of isk. No risk. That is how we roll with CCP and High Sec. This video is a great representation of how things currently work in incursion/hs.

High Sec rocking

True, maybe I've just been lucky when I've been running them. I do play at off-peak hours quite regularly so I think I miss most of the contesting.
