Question to the DEV's about the "I was there EVE video"

As the title states, I have a question about this video I saw. It has a real life actor telling a great story about he helped his fleet by making a balls to the wall run for the enemy fleet so the could get a warp in spot and win the fight.

Now when I first saw this video I said "Wow this is a really good video for being 5 years old" However to my amazement I saw that it was only a few months old.

Now to the question........

Why did the video show that run, when if you were going to show new people about fleet fights it should have been about a cov-ops probing the fleet and warping them onto the enemy. Interceptors have been replaced by probes and heavy tackle..... please stop giving new people the wrong idea about the game.

Yeah, when the enemy fleet were beyond 150km the FC would just have instantly probed them (well it actually takes 5 seconds). There should have been massive spam in local, and both sides should have had live feeds of the enemy comms. Very unrealistic video.

Oh and I saw some non minmatar/drake ships in those fleet setups, so clearly unrealistic.

It's about the story, and pulling people into EVE. By the time those new players get into fleet battles, the doctrine will probably have changed again. Blink
