First time I've seen this, maybe not new for everyone. Action starts around 8 minutes in.

The nerfs to supercaps will cause more super pilots to join the largest alliances who can properly "support" their deployment, further concentrating firepower/wealth in EVE. The end result will be fewer "fun" fights, and will hurt EVE in the long run.

It was posted in the wis thread a while back.

Supposedly they've progressed a good bit with it.

There was supposed to be a dev blog but CCP canned it.

Not a forum alt.

Interesting.

If I can't kill them out in space, I want to kill them in the station. Can't hide forever :P

This sounds like exactly what eve needs.

I've always said and repeat: Incarna was one of the most important expansions of Eve if you think about it on the long run and the opportunities.

I can only hope all those monument shooters will eat their hat some day for their own stupidity but this will never happen. Bitter will always be bitter, silly will still be silly and simple minded will not grow any IQ unless another big bang, even then...

Pretty sure the rage last year was more about MTs, the Fearless newsletter, being forced into CQ, and said CQ being lamer than a person with no legs (one room after how many months?)

The idea known as Ambulation was a good one, and it only became a disaster when it was renamed Incarna.

What was so important about Incarna? It just reinforced everyone's desire to focus on FiS instead of WiS.

That's more like it. It's suppose to be in order of creating new things from war and then adapting them for peace. At least in the EVE universe, that's one of the reasons WIS probably failed. The clip was funny though, block space zombie with small glowing square balls,to huge blazing radioactive balls, lol

It had the potential to be game changing, but given the way they ****** up the coding, the quality assurance, the deployment, the damage control and eventual admission that they ****** up months after the mass exodus of accounts it was game breaking. No one was against walking in stations we were against an completely ****** expansion which at the time due to the way it was implemented and never finished, (it still isn't finished btw A ******* YEAR AFTER RELEASE) it came across as a pathetic attempt at creating more ways for them to get paid.

That's actually a prototype pre-alpha experiment of "Survival Exploration", not "station combat" IIRC.

The idea was you had to get out of your pod and explore space ruins, and archeology sites, either by yourself or with others. It would pretty much have to be a group effort as you'd have to abandon your ship to do so.

You'd run into problems with various enemies, and atmospheric, gaseous and cosmic radiation problems.
