We can look at the entire starmap and just the solar system map, how about a map that only shows the systems in the region you're in?

I think a lot of ideas from Dotlan's site should be used in game. If you've never been there, it is great. Its functionality puts the pretty EVE in-game map to shame.

Open up the map, set it to color stars by region, there you go.

Or just use Dotlan like everyone else. Dotlan does a much better job anyways.
