How do I make money in 0.0? Question to nullsec residents.

This is an alt obviously.

So my alliance is running non stop 24/7 mandatory participation CTA around the clock. Nobody is allowed to go ratting or anything except fight. Tax rate has been at 100% for a LONG time now. The alliance even has a mandate to shoot and pod anyone not participating in the mandatory CTA.

Its not an isolated case of a bad nullsec alliance either. EVERY nullsec alliance I've ever been in does this. I'm told that this is common and standard procedure for all nullsec alliances. If that's the case, then how do I make money in nullsec? Everytime I move to nullsec I end up losing money instead of making any due to the above. At this rate I think I should've stayed in highsec.

At least in highsec I had isk income, albeit small income. I'm sick of the threats and screamings from the FC's on coms (makes the 50dkp guy sound mild in comparison).

How do I make money in 0.0 under such intolerable conditions?

Maybe I should just find another game?

One simple solution:
Switch the Alliance.

This is happening in EVERY nullsec alliance I join, as the main post states.

I know at least 14 different Alliances who don't have any CTAs.

Oh? You know at least 14 nullsec alliances that don't have CTA's?

Please, do share.

PL isn't really a nullsec alliance anymore.
All the others are part of CFC.

As for OP, switch alliance. And you just joined all rubbish alliances who can't defend their space and cause of that they need to call CTAs every single time. Also some nullsec regions tend to be more hostile (Geminate for example) then others. But there are plenty of alliances who don't call CTAs every single minute of EvE, though being in SOV nullsec means there is always the possibility to get one to defend your space. Not defending means no space. No space means no more ISK making.

PL stages out of nullsec atm, they've initiated Delve2012, they have even sov in delve and participated in most other major conflicts in nullsec, but yea, PL is clearly a lowsec scrub alliance.

That's correct for most of the Aliances (99% and TASHA aren't in the CFC), but doesn't affect my previous statement in any way.

OP, why would you stay past finding the 100% tax rate and being screamed at?

Don't forget that you are paying your sub. It may just require more research or working into alliances more through recommendations from people you have met or something.

Don't know, but it sounds terrible.

PL are hired guns, they are null-sec but don't perma live in a space. They more where ever their contract makes them move. Seen them in the old NC war, seen them in the Drone Russian war, now they are in Delve.

And TASHA and 99 are pets / minions / renter / what ever of TEST, means they are part of the CFC cause of their overlords

And true your list doesn't have must CTAs but then again, most people don't want anything to do with players who are part / were part of the CFC.

This.

If you hate the alliance you are in, why do you stick around.

You can't hire PL anymore and even in the past were contract more for the amusement of the membership than a needed income source. "Today" the plan on taking a constellation in delve as a summer residence.

So what, the OP asked for alliances without or less CTAs and i told him viable alternatives, because he didn't specified any alignements.

This means you're bad at evaluating your future corps and alliances.

Very few will do this, since member retention becomes a massive issue.

I honestly think you're trolling, or trying to vastly exaggerate the issue. For instance, I can't find a single corp on dotlan in the top 30alliances with a tax rate over 20%, though I will admit I only spent a handful of minutes looking. Certainly, it was not "all of them" though -- and most of the ones I looked at are involved in the current Deklein conflict.

Having said that, and assuming you want to stay, you can make a lot of money by seeding markets in the regions your alliance is warring in. Should be easy if you're flying a doctrine setup.
