[Proposal] Frentix and sooth sayer booster

Thoose boosters are the least sought after combat boosters and i was pondering what might increase their potencial and ofcorse stimulate the market and player base of useing them and making them for sale.

my suggestion is that sooth sayer have boosts to jammers/damps/painters falloff and frentix affect remote armour/cap trans/shield trans range.

PS: as mentioned later a 4th booster slot might be a good benefit also example

slot 1 exile. blue pill. x-instinct. mindflood
slot 2 sooth sayer. frentix
slot 3 crash.
slot 4 drop.

this will make ppl useing guns more intrested in boosters due to being able to mix tracking speed (drop) and range (frentix/sooth sayer)

also thoose that use capasitor dependant guns like blasters and lasers will be able to use mindflood on top of thatBlink

so please give the boosters some loveBig smile

Boosters need a full rework.

For starters, the boosters that affect weapons should be in a different slot than those that affect tanking.

Side effects need a rework. There have been lots of ideas for withdrawal mechanics, but I think a simple temporary fix would be that you can only get 1 side effect.

The skills should be reworked as well. 5% should be changed to 10% (for neurotoxin recovery and nanite control).

For some reason I thought this was not the case. I was wrong.

Crash being in its own slot is silly honestly. That should be in Slot 2.

More boosters need to be added though, as well as a rework of the mechanics in terms of side effects.

ok current boosters are:

blue pill - slot 1 - shield active boost
crash - slot 3 - explosion radius reduction (missile)
drop - slot 2 - turret tracking bonus (all guns)
exile - slot 1 - armor rep boost
frentix - slot 2 - turret optimal boost (all guns)
mindfold - slot 1 - capacitor bonus
soothsayer - slot 2 - falloff boost (all guns)
X-instinct - slot 1 - sig radius reduction

personally this is pitiful and rely needs to be addressed when they
overhaul the booster and smuggling mechanic.

i would like to see a lot more varents including but not limited to:

weapon system specific boosts ( falloff/tracking/damage/optimal/cap usage) maby have navies produce sanctioned boosters for there gun system

drone spec boosters ( speed/endurance/operational range/damage)
resistance boosters (armor/shield/ and hull)
raw HP boosters (in form of actual numbers not %s)
passive recharge (shield/ and NEW armor)
speed/agility boosters
EW boosters
anti-EW boosters
logistics boosters (logi pilots)

pure pirate varients of drugs to further improve on boosted stats
booster sets that work with each other (like current pirate implants)


also would like to have more than 3 slots maby 5 slots with. each with a max limit on what can be put in to them.
in pod storage of small amounts of boosters. for near future use

well thats what i ould like to see in some form or another

4 slots will do and 4th has lets say drop booster (tracking speed) then ppl that use guns will use the drop-frentix/sooth sayer combo on guns from tackle frigs frigs to sniper BSBlink

I think booster production should be simplified

What I would exactly ask would be total overhaul of pos system and totally new type of production and mining towers, but simply put i think it should be more simple to manufacture -> small pos + drug lab = make boosters k? No freaking too much brain damage there.

Then you should be able to get booster certain bpc's only in low sec and others in 0.0 while none from hi sec, but in all low sec regions. Not just some. Woo low sec oomph???

Also gas mining bonused ship please. Not just ferox.

And to the topic boosters slots/drawbacks should be thought again. Some combinations are very obviously working better than others. Like repair bonus on ship with no guns/missiles. etc.

Not sure if completely removed rather than vastly reduced, which I would welcome.
