Hello!

Back from the dead once again, the IGB POS Planner has been brought back online and gently upgraded to include the new fuel blocks.

http://eve.1019.net

Let me know of any new features and I'll see if I can't get to them!

It's back \o/

Btw, the stacking penalties (for hardeners) are still wrong.
I didnt double check it but it seems that you're doing 100% 83% 43% 22% 100% 100% 100%, ie after 4 you dont apply the malus.

I went through and did correct the math for stacking penalties. The error was actually happening when you were stacking above the 90% range, and it should be correctly applying the malus. Go ahead and double-check it, definitely would like to make sure all of the maths are in order.

Glad to hear everyone is getting some usage out of the tool :D

It's still wrong !

Large caldari POS, 0% EX RES
1 hardener : 25%
2 hardeners : 44%
3 hardeners : 58%
4 hardeners : 69%
5 hardeners : 77%
6 hardeners : 83%
7 hardeners : 87%
8 hardeners : 90%

Etc.

According to stacking penalties, the 6th hardeners should only give 3% of a 25% res bonus. Which is almost nothing. 7th and 8th hardeners should be way below a 1% improvement, and not even noticeable.

Correct.

Based on SiSi testing I did a while ago with 8 hardeners, your resists increase as such -

Base 00 resist : 25, 43, 57, 68, 76, 82, 86, 89
Base 25 resist : 43, 57, 68, 76, 82, 86, 89, 92
Base 50 resist : 62, 71, 78, 84, 88, 91, 93, 94

Or my understanding of the stacking penalties is wrong, or something is fishy with this. 86%->89% is a huge EHP bonus for a 8th hardener.

EDIT : looking at the differences between base0 and base25, yay something isnt working well. The base 25% res is "as stacked" as the 0% res, which is not how ship resistances work in EVE.
Hmm.... :ccp: :POS:

awesome planner, one note, the anchoring timers are out of date, it still think it takes ages to anchor everything now, even though a med faction tower is 14m for anchor/online as an example

An excellent tool. I've been using it to plan my POSes.

My only complaint is that the estimated ISK cost does not reflect the actual cost of those modules as found in sell orders in Jita. If you had a way to update the POS planner prices with current market prices, it would be all the more useful.

This is a cool tool.
One feature suggestion that would make it totally awesome would be to add functional phases. This would allow you to test various stages of online/offline components for power/cpu fit. (i.e. peace time, war dec, attacking, turtle-up, etc.)

What does every one think?

Using a non-essential computer I disabled the eset warning for the site and began to plan a pos.
WIthin about 20 minutes of use the computer started flashing warnings of a trojan in memory.
So there's probably a REAL GOOD reason the site is flagged by eset.

I would not use this planner except on a sandboxed virtual machine that can't be harmed etc.

Seems to work with JavaScript disabled via Firefox + NoScript (I refuse to use Internet Exploder).

The two trojans that appeared on my pc are: win32/medfos.EL and Redirector.NCG which seems to be Chrome related.

If javascript off / noscript is good enough protection then there ya go.
