Important information for Dust 514 beta invitees from Fanfest 2012

Dear DUST 514 fans,

It’s been a month since FanFest 2012 and the DUST 514 development team has been hard at work implementing bug fixes, new features and all kinds of enhancements for our next build for the DUST 514 Closed Beta, called the “Replication” update. Many of the improvements were the results of player feedback we received at FanFest and on the forums, and as all this feedback has given us a lot of great ideas that we’ve crammed into the Replication update. However, this has also taken a bit more time than we had initially planned. This means that we have pushed the launch of Replication by about a week. The good news is that we’ve just received confirmation from Sony that the Replication update has passed their review process and based on the current schedule, the Replication update should go live very soon.

We also want to remind Fanfest attendees that you can now begin redeeming your CCP FanFest codes here and get all set up to claim your DUST 514 SEN redemption codes! As soon as Replication is live, we’ll be sending out the SEN redemption codes, and you can start playing the DUST 514 Closed Beta. Thank you for your continued support and understanding. We look forward to seeing you in game.

So is this just a repetition of the announcement earlier and its still next week , or pushed back by another week? i.e 14th of may earliest?

Well I'm not part of those getting in with this update, but hopefully not long after some keys go out to EVE players.

Considering that not too long ago, we were supposed to be playing by the end of April, I would say that the 7th is the date after the push back is included.

i'd even say this announcement implies that the patch could be launched earlier than the 7th May.
As sony has validate the patch, they will publish it as soon as they can.

and we, happy buggers, will finally get our PSN vouchers and get to play that holy beta.

except patch and psn updates are two different things. Patchs for games are applied any day.

Hmm, this is all well and good for fanfest attendees. What about the major MAJORITY of people who could'nt attend fanfest. Is there any info on when we'll be able to get in after signing up for the beta?

Not yet, but give them a few hours and I'm sure we'll be playing it before the day is out (depending where you live of-course).

I personally think we won't get our codes till the beginning of next week, then being the 7th. Don't know if Sony is likely to work over the weekend, and I'm guessing they're the ones with the keys to the keys.
