Player Features and Ideas Discussion

I realize this idea has already been proposed here: http://community.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1179284 but that post was three years ago and I don't care much for ideas 1, 2, and 3.

What I would like to see is idea #4, or in other words, a Directional Scanner range slider IN ADDITION to the text box. The slider could perhaps have a minimal range of 1 AU or .5 and a max range of 14.4 AU.

Why add this? Because its annoying to type 9 to 11 digits each time you want to switch from say 3 AU to 12 AU.




Don't like the slider idea, or you say it's too hard to implement? Here's another suggestion: instead of the slider, add the ability to type 1AU (or 1A for lazy people like me) in the text box to set the Directional Scanner to that range.
