now before any one starts im not asking for a boost to invention chance its fine the way it is. but the user-interface can do with some work.

Most of what tlak about is from a inventors view but apply s to all who use the Science and industry user-interface.

Problems we have just now are.

1st the click fest of loading many jobs at a time.

It take 9 clicks per invention job 10 if you count the line in use "Would you like to queue your job up on this assembly line?"
pop up but we will get to that in a bit.

so for max skills char with 11 that can use labs looking at 100+ click to load 11 jobs with 4 separate interface screens to repeatedly deal with.

One of the main issue is that of repetitively you have to keep given the same info over and over again.

Science and industry pop up what installation to use with no options to remember setting or drop down menu.

pick installation screen defaults to current blue print location.

Toggle full list or show only available slots defaults to full list each time it loads.

LIne in use screen pop up screen this is just info you already know no need to be told again.
would like a DO NOT SHOW THIS EVER AGAIN added

Same goes for the accept quote screen need a option to turn off yes its nice to know what its using but no need to be told the same info again and again.

Remotely loading Invention jobs

If using labs on a pos you need Data Interface and Data-cores in that lab @ the pos but the BPC can be loaded remotely from a station.

now it counts the Bpc need for the job as a required resource and take that remotely from a station but Data-cores and Data Interface have to be available in the in the lab you are using.

it should take all the required resources remotely or none not just part.


How to Fix/ Improve

Add a "use available free slots" options should be no need to have to pick witch free slot to use in each instillation
If you selected which instillation to use it should auto use any available free slots. if non are available then give you the option to pick.

Batch instillation of jobs say if you selected 5 bps's/Bpo's of the same type all going to use the same instillation
do the same thing should not need to do the give the same info again and again.

Science and industry pop up what installation to use add a drop down menu with the last 5 instillation's used.

LIne in use pop up to be used for when "use available free slots" fails

Most of this can be added with 2 check boxes to the main Science and industry pop up screen.
so not much work need to the user-interface but a lot of back end work yes.
