fan fest 2013 idea

During this years fan fest a rifter spaceship had been made in lego.
I think it would be really cool to have an fan fest event over all 3 days to make a large one where everyone can help.
Perhaps make it a competition and split people into the 4 main factions. Price for best design.

Would be cool, but not likely. But why not something 10 meters long?
We would be a lot to make it over 3 days.

cool Idea, but maybe bigger teams? the stumbling point I'd see (besides the cost of legos...) would be that anyone doing it wouldn't be able to do much of anything else the whole time.

The idea was definitely not small teams like pvp. My idea was more on the lines that every person gets assigned to a team upon signupup . That way each team is 1/4 of all attendees. Of course not all want to or can join, but over the time of fanfest if just 1/10 put in 1 hour a lot can be made. And I would expect they have to make a deal with lego. Clearly it won't be financially possible otherwise. But it could be good publicity for lego, so perhaps they want to lend or sponsor the blocks needed.
