Hey, name's Brandon.

I have been a high-sec junkie for some time, mainly soloing level 4 missions. I'm a full-time college student so I only get to play a few hours a day (if that). There may be times where I am AWOL for 5-7 days, but when I'm on I usually play 1-2 missions before logging. I am an avid voice comm user and will make sure I communicate any upcoming AWOL sessions. I debated whether or not I should even make this post because my previous plan was just to sit parked in high-sec while my research continued and I wrapped up my last semester of college on May 20th.

I own a:

  • CNR - For missioning. I have no intention of becoming a exclusive PVP pilot anytime soon. Current 597 dps w/ drones.
  • Noctis - For salvaging every mission. 68km tractor range, can target 7x at a time. Salvagings @ 4.
  • Badger Mark II - For transporting 19k m3 of salvage from my high-sec system 8 jumps to Jita.

  • I'm broke and make only about 30 million ISK a day. I am currently flying a ship I cannot afford to lose sadly. Current plans for this ship include 1.5+ billion in modules to increase DPS and cap stability. I want to branch into low/null sec for an opportunity to make a lot more ISK. My current training skill plan (85+ days) calls for maxing out my Battleship's DPS and eventually transfering to a Golem, then to a Carrier.

    What I am looking for:
  • 1. A corp that understands that I am a busy person and cannot always be on when requested.
  • 2. A corp that is relatively secure, allowing me to feel secure leaving my ship in null-sec while I am at work or in class.
  • 3. A corp that has access to high sec for selling items. Even if its a bi-weekly event, I still want to sell what I salvage.
  • 4. An active corp with active members. My current corp only has 3 people on at a time and that makes for boring play sessions.
  • 5. Microphones, TS/Vent a plus.
  • 6. People who do not take the game TOO seriously. I like to come home after a hard day of class & work, crack open a beer, make some ISK, log, watch a movie with the family and then go to sleep. I do not intend on missing any family dinners haha!

  • What I like to do:
    1. Help miners with rat issues.
    2. (Soon to be) Orca piloting and perhaps hauling once trained.
    3. Kill stuff.
    4. Salvage.
    5. Make Bank.

I have an alt character who is being trained for Orca piloting (6.4m SP currently), and a brother who is considering resubbing to EVE. He's a miner with 12.9 SP. If you bring me in, theres a good chance you'll be getting three characters (two people) into your corp. I've been with PABE for a year now, but have not had a subscription over the past 9 months. I'm 24, mature, and ready to see what my next chapter in EVE leads.

    Thanks.

Just a bit of friendly advice. If you do find a corp and move out to null-sec sell the CNR and use a Drake for ratting. Trust me you do not want to risk that shiny a ship with a small wallet and no null-sec experience. Running belts/anoms you can make 40m ISK an hour easily in a Drake, plus extra with rare spawns/escalations. Almost any 0.0 corp is going to want you to PvP some (especially defending your space from randoms roams and such), so be prepared for that.

I would also train your alt for a Noctis, shouldn't take too long and you don't need more than salvaging 3 on it. It is far more efficient to keep you main whacking rats and your alt following behind picking up the loot and salvage. Your main won't kill quickly enough to keep your alt going steadily, but you would be surprised how few people salvage their wrecks and you can ask your corp members to let you salvage their anoms when they are done as well.

Woops I do apologize. I should have mentioned that I don't really see myself missioning if I'm in a 0.0 corp.

My second character is just about Noctis ready.

I appreciate the tip on flying a Drake, I think that'll definitely be something I'll keep in mind.
