Critique / tear apart / tell me I'm a noob. Need advice on this feet for roam PVP. I plan to lose her. With my current skills she is tight on CPU hence the co-processor II in the lows. SIg is only 37, DPS 103 PS Volley 251. Max speed 1483 cap stable.

Typically if you fit a small shield extender on a ship, you've done something wrong.When you do so and it forces you to fit 2(almost 3) fitting mods to do it, you're out on a very thin line.

I'm not a huge fan of the Firetail in the first place, but I'd suggest a simple first start would be to replace the extender for either some ewar or if you want more tank a shield booster, then in turn swap the co-pro for a mapc and add a nos to keep the booster and tackle running. Or swap your fitting around until you can fit a medium shield extender on there.

I'm not positive what your intentions with the ship are, but it could be worth considering armortanking it which opens up a whole new avenue of options. I'll leave an example assuming you want to stick with shieldtanking, but consider what you're after heavily and I'll take another look.

I like your setup much better, should work fine. Here it is with a slight mod to it. The Cap recharge 2 makes it cap stable.

A cap recharger would also void the fitting rig, however make the setup somewhat terrible. Cap stability is rarely if ever desirable as it's way to costly on the module-slots at hand.

You can upgrade the nos to a higher meta if you really want but it makes little difference to the fit.

This fit allows you to take on neuting cruisers and battlecruisers. It'll also mean you can brawl down and mess with other brawling frigates. Do not engage anything that kites though.
I've used it to get quite a few little ransoms now, notably a terribad cynabal pilot who I had convinced I was tackling for a small gang..... I wasn't.

Once again I can't tell you enough how much you should not engage a decent kiting pilot with this frigate. Pick your targets and the fit will *cough* shine.

My Brawler Slicers has no issues with Shield RFF's, slightly more EHP to eat through but it doesn't stand a chance.

Rep/DCU Armour RFF's on the other hand are evil .. EVIL, I tell you!
The freed up fittings and midslot gives it a neutralizer and eWar module (TD's for the loss :( ) in exchange for slightly poorer tank .. it is like fighting the dreaded active rep Claw that was omni-present before the faction frig boost.

In short: Midslots are a prize commodity on the frigate level, don't squander them on silly extenders!

Armor works well on the firetail, its easyfit has nice stats and its fast enough for the speed penaltys to not be that bad..
Dual web ftw!!
T2 rig is around 10mill so well worth it..

Oh for sure armour firetails are awesome fun, never flown one but seen some good work with dual webbed ones.

Not so sure on the armour repper, I always see other people do well in them but I've never gotten one to work. Not that I tried too much mind you.

I shall test this! Some people are about to get some free firetail kills as I refine flying the bastard thing lol.

The MWD speed is nice, means you can catch alot of kiting ships, then just orbit under guns and pew them to death (Note, this will take an awful long time due to terribad DPS, but most kiting ships have little EHP anyway).

This ship is very nice vs. most turret frigates, as the very good AB speed and non-existant sig radius + TD makes you ridiculously hard to hit. Again the DPS is low but most things can't lay a hit on you, giving you all the time in the world*

*meaning until the target's friends show up ;)
