1:07 - 1:09 and 1:13 - 1:17 in that video briefly show you the new damnation.

For critics of the Sacrilege - it's bad news. The same Matte Black colour scheme and blocky grey armour plates. For those who like that kind of thing, it's actually quite nice. In my opinion, there's not enough black and it's nowhere near shiny enough, but it's pretty nice.

Also new launchers or something.

looks the same pretty much, minus the logo.

Do not assume anything above this line was typed by me. Nerf the Truth, it's inconvenient.

That may have been the standard Damnation model on a better computer than yours.

Oddly, that's not quite correct.

Not convinced that's a V3 Damnation, as it's far, far too similar to the current design.

The Sacrilege was completely reshaped when it went under the knife, I expect most other ships to get the same treatment.

Perhaps a T1 Prophecy with some tweaked effects? The Prophecy does have missile launcher slots.

Oh, wow! CGI? I suppose the gameplay is us actually remote-controlling spaceships in real life and being shown it through cameras, like Big Brother...

Seriously, all the trailers are made using the game engine >_>

I take that back. That IS a V3 Damnation. The blue lights kind of clinch it.

Shame, we Khanids are losing the prestige of having the sexiest ships by far in the game.

Can we get a buff to their actual stats instead? :)

you realize most V3 ship model designs remains the same as their pre-V3 version right?

just take a look at the gallente/caldari subcapitals and tell me how many was "completely reshaped" :P

The gameplay moron is GAMEPLAY.

The CGI is just that... CGI... it is not GAMEplay it is not taken FROM the game...

I guess you never seen a trailer that says "ALL REAL GAMEPLAY" etc...

CCP can mock up anything they want, what it ends up looking like has nothing to do with the CGI.

Now if they said "o this is gameplay from XYZ dev test server" it would mean ALOT more.

The trailers are made using jessica....

I aint gona dive into how it is NOT the same as the game and what you see in the trailer is *not* gameplay, CCP explained that a while ago.

Okay - now look at the Crucible trailers and tell me that the new BCs look completely different.

Great they RUINED the Khanid colour scheme on the damnation too. What part of "Khanid ships are supposed to be "sleek, shiny and full of blinky blue lights" don't they get. Even tho there is Caldari influence in Khanid ships, they are first and foremost Amarrian.

The new matte black is bland, boring and soulless. Way too cyberpunk for this race's ships. Amarr is supposed to have that 'old empire' feel. That feel is NOT conveyed by matte colors at all. Matte implies minimalism, something that is the complete opposite of the Amarrian design philosophy.

All Amarr ships, especially the Tech II variants, should have the shiniest, most metallic and reflective looking armour in the game.

I think it has a lot to do with the way the nebulae shine light onto hulls; the few times I'm in hisec have felt like flying through a brightly lit room. Another aspect would be that the textures are probably still WIP (although, notice how the caldari ships also look really matee in that lighting). Chances are a damnation in anywhere but hisec will still look black, if nothing else because of a lack of super bright nebula lighting.

And hey, at least now I can actually see the hull features on the damn thing.

I love how everyone just assumes that this was taken from a testserver, running full graphics and having V3'd ships.

Your face when™ you realized they just turned the shader setting to "low" so you can see the ships clearly and not have them being totally black on all sides but the one facing the sun in the system.

while (CurrentSelectedTarget.Status == ShipStatus.Alive) {

     _myShip.FireAllGuns(CurrentSelectedTarget);

}
