I listened the Q&A part of the PSNHome broadcast, it was a bit choppy and I didn't hear it all but I could make out this 'Friendly fire is on'.

Of course, it wasn't specifically said if that applies to the eve<->dust link so... FWIW I guess.


Saw one of the dev's playing on stage yesterday shooting one of his own team in the back, 'oops sorry'.
So friendly fire looks to be possible. :)

he's not. its kinda like useing a red dot sight on battlefield 3 or MW3 the dot is your mane aiming point but you can still see the iron sights.

Naturally the game has to have some inhibitions mechanisms

Otherwise there will be players that just move from planet to plant bombarding all sides until the game becomes unplayable for dust users and the game fails.

Same people who grief noobies and then wonder why their is no player retention.
