Hello. Been playing for a couple days now and its looking like I will be paying to play this soon, but I still have 11 days of trial left and why waste the free time? :P

So far, there doesn't seem to be anything about piracy mentioned in the tutorial, which I assume there won't be and it's something I think I might be interested in. Is there a guide posted somewhere that's like a 'Piracy 101' for terms, types, things to do and things to watch out for, ect?

First of all, welcome aboard and good luck on your way to become a Mighty Pirate!

Then, I would recommend reading Skira Ranos' Beginner's Guide to Piracy and Wensley's Rifter Guide to Solo PvP to get started. Plus, if you enjoy reading about first-hand experience, check The Punisher Plan.

I believe that Veto is still planning on doing a PVP/Piracy seminar again this year.

Just for info:
If you did subscribe, you wouldnt lose your 11 days remaining trial. They would be added onto the end of your subscription. So if you did a 30 day sub, you would get 41 days and be fully unlocked for training skills that were restricted for you

In addition to what's been said, empire suicide ganking is really popular right now and probably really good ISK for someone of your age. You won't be able to use any of the good solo fits but if you get a few friends in cheapfit alpha Thrashers and a few alts to loot/salvage and move your ships around you should be able to make some money (and tears).

I wouldn't be surprised at all if CONCORD's new death ray puts an end to this this summer (as has always been the case in the past when people started ignoring the cops en-masse), get in while you can Pirate
