No, I do not want to buy your crappy recycled character with a sh**ty track/employment record and even worse name.

I have an awsome name, even better track/employment record. You, on the other hand, have a ****** name and even worse poasting history.

Do you realize how stupid you sound considering "character bazaar" and "timecode bazaar" ? The only difference with my proposal is being able to skill up my character as opposed to using someone else's leftovers.
You do realise that the character bazaar does not in any way resemble what you're asking for, right?

Oh, but we have that already in the game. I buyed it for ~ 80 million ISK.
It´s called implants and it shaved 180 days of my current skillplan, so i buyed about 10 million SP.

I got lost in thought... it was unfamiliar territory.

No.

No, no, no.

Buying skill points would break the game. Half the population would quit, the other half would be mucking around in titans.

As much as I loathe taking forever to train for something (I'm training for the archon now), I understand it's best for the game.

Allowing to purchase of skill points through money, I don’t know what rocks other people bots,
but that would be it for me, I would stop playing instantly!
I don’t even know where to begin whit what’s wrong whit that, so much that I don’t even want to start!
If any feature in the game should allow for extra skill points other the trough skill training, it should be through game play, maybe a kind of leveling system gaining “XP” a like, this would also allow new players to catch up a bit to old players trough intensive game playing!

I would be one of the quiters. If there is a point where money will effect in game items by making them stronger or anything I am gone. This is not World of tanks people.

I do not agree with buying SP it's just a bad idea. However, maybe a remap if it's within the same group like "Gunnery", "Spaceship Command", etc. Perhaps a 10% loss of skill points too there has to be some drawback/negative to the remap if they ever allow it.

As long as there is a way to trace the previously used names like a "Otherwise known as...." list. Marking the character sale & name change in the Employment Log would be nice.

OK mate, go look at what happened to SWG and then come back and say that again. If you still say it again, I will hunt you down, slap you silly, and then steal all your stuff. Every blasted bit so you can never post your ridiculous comments again.

This has been reject a million times before because of one thing: No matter how many credits you attach to the price of an item or service, there will always be someone out there with enough money to buy it. You only need to look at the number of titans to figure that one out.

Or hell, the number of supercarriers. I mean, they cost 15 billion credits each right? But there's like, over 2500 now?

If it ever does happen, do not come crying to me when you get ganked a million times over by that one dude whom has 450 million SP and can whoop your butt twenty times over. It's just not going to happen.

When you buy a existing pilot that pilot had to be skilled up over time. Because of that there is a limited supply.

But if skill points could be bought it would be possible for someone with a big credit card to make a unlimited number of high skill pilots overnight. He could do things like advertize "Join my alliance, get a 100 million SP pilot and we will take over Null!"

That's game breaking. Any way to purchase an unlimited number of game effecting items for $$ runs into the same issue.

no, no we can't.

It's a dumb idea.. skill points need to remain fixed where they get trained.

i MIGHT support tihs idea if it was something like $50 for 1000 skill points, you could only buy 10,000 sp per day adn had a total hard limit of 1mil sp

otherwise its a horrible idea

Even with limitations it is a bad idea. The current system works great, and even better when all training times passes 2 days, especially after RL hits your gaming time with the Nerf bat.
