Change cyno mechanics.

Change cynos to a real beacon.



Make them a type of anomaly that randomly spawns, and can reproduced by some type of new probe that has to be launched
No more cyno frigs. Since they are a true beacon, anyone can jump to them, even one launched by a player.
Movement would require a lot more planning and preparation, to avoid those pesky supercaps from flooding in just as you land. [:8)


The random cyno beacons would pop up in a random manner, at random times, random systems, last for anywhere from one minute to 15 minutes, then pop without warning.

They can be killed, but it requires some firepower, so you could close one after you opened it you if have the manpower. The timing and spread would have to be worked out, perhaps an average of 2-4 random cynos per region, fantasticly useful, but obviously dangerous as well, unless you know who else is sitting in range of that cyno that just popped..



1) Incrementally increases your risk the farther you travel.


2) If you made cyno probes launchable only by a cap or a specialty ship, you restrict movement even further, logistics becomes tougher if you have to move a big ship around to make cynos



3) Players that do not have the extra accounts to move a cap around, could actually fly one, however the risk of jumping to an unknown beacon becomes very uncertain.







Dynamic game, sandbox....do it. [:8)
