Issues, Workarounds & Localization

Computer info:


Windows 7pro sp1

Processor: AMD FX 6100
RAM: 8gb
64bit os


Clean computer, no anti-V, unchecked SPI firewall from router.

running latest patched installer v.1.13, and repair tool v.3.45

helpful info:

normal installer and offine installer didnt work, including using download manager to download.
(says generic error failed to download payload)

Pulled HDD out of old comp, copied entire ccp folder to c: drive (SSD) , left HDD in comp to see if that previously working version would work. This was the only way I could get the game on the computer!
Launcher launches(no error, even when patching the first time) click play see the splash screen, stays up for 5 secs, disappears. no game..

processes show exefile.exe*32 as running. (and will add one more for each time i press play.

Things I've tried

1. SPI firewall unchecked from router ( linksys WRT310N)
2. Looked for any blocking info on router (not well versed but found none) (and game plays on friends comp i brought over on my network)
3. Deleted launcher cache folder on both both SSD and HDD.
4. Ran repair tool multiple times with no errors at this time, may have had one the 1st time run cause it took longer.


I have read as much as I can on the forums trying other various fixes other ppl used, but none of them seem to address this problem. The one thread I have seen about this abruptly stopped with no resloution I can see.
