What about having ability to post short Titels or messages in Corpchat Like an MOTD?

Like Titel says, what about having a feature in game for Directors or CEO's to be able to type in short messages or titels like a MOTD in the Corpchannel....so to say like dayly short messages visible for every Corpmember when they loggin and can get changed like the usual MOTD in private channels.

I bringing this idea up since i recognized often that Corpmails or Allymails either get ignored or forgotten to check, but most the time directly visible text while loggin in in chats like MOTD if written large enough doesn't.

So i'm asking CCP isn't it possible to connect this ability to Director / CEO roles or any given role created by the Directors or CEO to an Corpmember they trust? Is it possible to integrate this feature in Corp / Ally channel at all?

Mmm not too bad of an idea, so +1.

Just a better way to annoy the corp, but we already know how Nullsec is. (Which I assume that is what going to be used often.)

Well to be frank why i got this idea is, often corpmates either forgot to check calendar or corpmails entries after have logged on due to the fact the blinky icon and tiny popup which comes if you have new mail gets ignored due cause of them either vanish to fast or beeing so tiny.

Other reason they get forgotten / ignored is the fact there are to many coming in at once and most peoples hate to read through letters anyways, so a short Titel / MOTD message at the first moment you loggin in Corp / Ally chat would hopefully get more attention this way.

It's the simply fact many peoples are just to lazy to read the mails *g*

I think it would be easy to implement. In addition to this, it would be an improvement.

Yep, something like that or some private group channels you can open and and different greeting text or memos visible to everyone who enters.

Yes please.

There's even a role already, communication officer, that should be allowed to do that. Comms Officer for the executor corp should be able to set the motd of the alliance chat.

While you're at it, add an motd for fleet chat. :-]

I would highly approve of corp and alliance channel MOTD's. It's a feature that many people have been suggesting for a long time and something that I myself would love to see.

In addition to corp/alliance MOTD's, I would also like to see corp/alliance Welcome Mails, just like the welcome mails you can set up for people who join your mailing list.

It wont let me have an empty signature...
