The way things are going, the state of nullsec, the utter downfall of pvp. lack of new players etc etc i will give eve 2 years at the going rate..

Life spans of Hamsters is anywhere from 2 - 4 years depending on the conditions they live in. Since Hamsters are easily replaceable, I would estimate the life span of eve is when you decided to unsub.

So long as CCP continues to bring new content, repair old bugs and continually upgrade the game graphically as well as in terms of gameplay then EvE can survive for as long as it continues to make money for CCP. My guess would be for a very long time.
