2x Graphic card - EVE didint recognize the better one only the bad onboard

Hi as titlle says

I have NVIDIA GeForce GF540M and also some Intel HD Graphic family

EVE on graphich menu allowes me to choose only the Intel card ... :

I have Intel core i7-2670QM and windows 7

Can someone help me thaaanks ? :)

In all likelihood you are running off the Nvidia card, even though the Intel HD card is reported. We are working with Nvidia to resolve this issue of reporting the wrong card.

Caused by NVIDIA Optimus technology. I think you can force "use dedicated GPU only" in NVIDIA control panel to make sure of it, even if it may *still* then show Intel HD on the UI. This is because latest NVIDIA Optimus laptops actually have no path from the GPU to the display - only the Intel HD Graphics has the connection, so the video drivers render stuff on the NVIDIA GPU and then send each frame to Intel HD graphics GPU which is connected to the display.

In general it works fine, except when an application tries to detect what model GPU is actually showing what is on screen...

Comfirming.

I run a Nvidia GeForce GT 630M and an Intel HD Graphic Family.

In GPU activity/command center, I have forced EVE to run on the Nvidia GPU.

Ingame, EVE shows to run on the Intel HD Graphic card, but my GPU Activity confirmes that EVE is in fact running on the Nvidia GPU.

Best way to test it.... go out to nullsec and find a blob....if you can load everything you're good...if not...then...well... you'll actually probably die before your computer loads everything
