Incarna - Full body avatar gameplays.

Incarna - Full body avatar gameplays.

Thanks to the, cloning and remote controles, advanced technology, pod pilot can now duplicate a clone of them self, wired with remote controle device. No need to get out of pod anymore. From his own ship, a player can control 1 clone and send his clone for some close encounter adventure. But once in control of his remote clone the pilot cannot control his ship.

- Walk in Station: Already in motion.
- Walk on Surface: Planet or moon. (not related to the FPS gameplay of Dust 514)
- Walk in Space: Think of Firefly.

Walk in Station: Already in motion, already on the development table.
- Establishment
- Off the grid, criminal activity
- Social hub
Future iteration:
- In station Combat, for Player own station. (for the murderous bunch, see below)
- Science and industry gameplay.
- Player housing.

Walk on Surface: Planet or moon.
- New dimension of Exploration.
- Science and industry gameplay.
- Player versus player enabled. Not warfare related, aka. Dust 514.
- Player housing. Player housing on planet.... i can dream, can i?

From lust jungle, to desolate barren world, player can use a varieties of vehicule, that can be fit for transportation or survey, to explore long strectch of land. And also be fit for industries and mini profession gameplay... and of course limited combat. But the key here is for a first hand experience, in a full body avatar.

Like in space, the opportinist players, can fulfill their murderous needs and try to attack, kill and steal other hard working and unsuspecting player. (Well i have learn that to gain popularity on these forum, you have to add gameplay to the killing spree of the loud minority of EVE online. No one wants "Barbie in Space(tm)".)

Imagine having to launch a remote clone, in a small ship to get, up close and personal, to wrecked ship and try to find these hidden goods or secret plans, that survive the explosion. Or to explore closely, newly discorverd ancien derelick space ship, to retrieve some intriguing technology that salvager beam could not picked-up.

Walk in space could be the precursor to the, new and mysterious, Walk in Derelick space entities, armed with your trustful shotgun in case of an unfortunate close encounter with some parasitic lifeform Nostalgia. Or to simply defend yourself from that friendly player pointing his rocket launcher to your face. Again, added gameplay to the killing spree. (I guess there is not enough violence in RL for some people, for some reason)

There is an infinite possibilies of gameplay for Incarna. Could be very fun, from time to time, to leave the emptiness of space to get a more graphical enviroment full of surprise, challenge and mind boggling activities... or to finally see the face of your agonizing victim.

The problem with WiS is that anything you can do in WiS you can do much quicker and much easier in the ship hanger just from navigating a few menus.

Plus there is a reason why WiS never got off the ground too well. Your WALKING in stations. Seriously, how much can someone freaking have walking around in a video game? Part of the most tedious processes in many video games is walking from one city to the other just to do some stupid quest. That's why games added fast- travel! We even have it in EVE in the form of jump clones. Why would CCP ever think that adding more travel time would be fun? Nobody likes taking a long time to do things! If we could teleport we would be bouncing all over the place.

I believe that you're confusing EVE with DUST. DUST is for playing with avatars; EVE is for playing with spaceships and never seeing your toon do anything useful in the flesh.

Don't worry, DUST will be here soon. But don't waste EVE forum space with DUST posts...

Says the player that does not develop EVE.

Says the player that think he knows better then CCP about their product.

The idea is about Incarna, wich is an actual product of the game. But i forgive your ignorance.

With regards to technical limitations.... d@mn1t man, we have warp drive. We can get around this!

Could we also add avatar/offline missions.... maybe like mass effect style?
