T3 and drones

It is quite obvious why Tengu has no drones.

Proteus' Hybrid Proplusion Aramture is awesome in terms of drones capacity. But if you try to fit it as a dedicated droneboat it's subpar to Ishtar. Why? Why a 3x-10x expensive ship can't obsolete lowercost ships?

Given that Amarr is the 2nd best drone race why Legion has no drones? The dedicated subsystem is subpar.

Loki's Projectile Scoping Array has 25/25 and this is a perfect example on how it should be done.

So basically two issues and I want to know why?

Because the Proteus can also easily manage a 6-figure tank and is not a dedicated drone boat like the Ishtar is?

The T3 in premise should obsolete no hulls. Every "dedicated" T2 hull is supposed to be better as its strength is in flexibility not focus. That's the primary complaint of the T3s as boosting ships, that the T3 has much better boost capacity than the command equivalent.

Please start over and get your facts straight before trying to post stuff like this.

The Tengu can have drones, though the most common subsystem doesn't have them.

As people said, the Proteus has an insane tank and can do other things that the Ishtar can't do, they're not priced solely by their drone bays.

The Legion does have a drone bay (in the proper configuration), why do you feel it's "sub par"? (note that drone bandwidth isn't everything)

The Loki's Proj Scoping drone layout is 25/50, not 25/25 as you said; even the one you almost got right, you got wrong.

Next time, please sit down and spend some time actually researching before posting something like this.

Legions Drone Sub has just one problem : this ANTI BONUS of -10% cap usage of Medium Lasers.

But if you ignore this it's a good sub.
- Easy to fit, either a nice tank or good DPS (turret+drone) or a good mix of tank+dps
- can use Artis & Autocannons without feeling bad (great against Guristas or Angels)
- one of the best exploration setups (scan+tractor+salvage+hacking+analysing+unlimited armor)

It's not realy "bad", it's just overshadowed by the all might omnipresent Tengu (which is overpowered in my eyes).

If CCP would just remove this stupid -10% cap **** and replace it with +5 or 7.5% damage :(.
+5% would result in about 650 DPS, 7.5% in about 700 DPS which would be enough to bring it in line with the Assault and Lazor subs (and the Tengu).

Why the hell can't I fitt capital repairs or shield booster on an Orca ... it's an CAPITAL ship!
