Biomass: What to do with it?

Easy and Simple suggestion.

Wikipedia : Oxygen, Carbon, Hydrogen and Nitrogen make up 90% of the human body.

Harvesting biomass from the battlefield, and reprocessing it, should yield the above.

But since this should be considered "dirty" and maybe even "criminal" it should probably only be able to be done in null-sec stations OR NPC space with lesser morals.

right.... if your talking about for POS fuel and the like.... you'd need like 1000 bodies per block. mostly because yes, those make up 90%, but only a small amount of it is actually retrievable, the rest is mixed as stuff and therefore is kinda useless.

also, why would we do this anyways?

I just feel that there is a cycle here that is not complete.

Why even create biomass from a destroyed pod, if not for it to have a use, even for a small one.

And also might be good for storyline or role-playing parts of the game.

Other then that, no reason, probably for the same reason that you can buy Janitors and put in your cargohold.

Janitors don't make your ship shine more just because they are in your cargo. Slave hounds can't track down your enemies.

They just add diversity to the game. A little thing that makes the game more unique.

You could take it home and play 'Weekend At Bernie's'

WoW holds your hand until end game, and gives you a cookie whether you win or lose. EVE not only takes your cookie, but laughs at you for bringing one in the first place...

I doubt anyone in the world where everyone got clones would mind corpse reprocessing.

Eh, the only use for corpses that I've seen that actually sounded interesting was the "Let is attach them to our hulls, ala Reavers from the Firefly universe". (Probably not practical until ship painting comes out, but it makes more sense then running a POS off of corpses, lol)

If they introduce ship painting without including ship corpse decoration I'm going to be sorely disapointed.

and hopefully thye can get rid of the (what is ti PG-13 rating?) on eve while they are at it, there is no point,t here is nothing in this game they can put in that isnt already linked in half the bios in goon/TEST... the average eve player is also over 20 right? so again... eve needs more gore, and psycopathic demi-gods using corpses for armor-plating soudns just about right.

Just saying, at 1000 bodies a block, I have enough for a month. There are a lot of bodies out there.

The difference is the rating given to the game (which is T for Teen, PG-13 is a rating for movies that's roughly equivalent) is given due to the packaged content, i.e. the content given in the installation of the game. On the login screen there's a popup in the lower left corner that states "ESRB Notice: Online interactions not rated by the ESRB" meaning that whatever other players choose to say or post has no relevance on the game's actual rating.

I just found an epic flaw in the OP's suggestion (turning corpses into POS fuel).

Have your alliance make many many throw-away alts
Have them all set their med clones to a nullsec system
Sit outside with a smartbombing BS and have all the throw-away alts (all with <900k SP) warp their pods to you to die
Scoop all the bodies to your cargo hold

Result: infinite free POS fuel

Working as intended. ;)

Pod pilots must consume the corpses of other pod pilots in order to stay alive.

Now this is a proposal I could put my name on.

This would be a better idea for reprocessing Corpsem, since if anyone watched the new EVE trailerm, the mind transfare inplant for your clones was found on a sleeper stastion. looked like a sleeper one anyway
