You were closest to me at the time and I wanted to do at least some damage. Nothing personal. And I'm aware how much the battle was in my favour even if it would have been 1v1 :)

Edit: Wait, alphabetically sorted overview and a name starting with ad. And you were still close.

Sadly Marlona's knowledge of game mechanics left him thinking he was GCC when he wasn't, so the whole thing was pretty ****** for anyone turning up to "do it properly."

Counterpoint: TEST managed to get TiDi to kick in just from the local spam, so that was fun :)

Props to anyone who turned up and joined in the brawl outside the station. I don't know about anyone else, but I turned up expecting a clusterfuck and got one .. not ironically delivered by the CFC.

Anyone calling TEST party poopers for turning a killmail whore event into a fight kinda misses the point of eve >.<

Shooting station =/= Global or "blinky red."

When I got there I think Marlona was the only one *not* on Global.

There's no use crying after every mistake, you just keep on trying 'til you run out of cake.

But seriously though - I started the fight in a Daredevil - which subsequently got popped by station guns

So I docked up and came back in Ibis - Killboard mechanics showed me as Ibis when Dread popped.

Good fun was had by all - More so if you were TEST :P

I shot the station and players who were not outlaw and had not shot me. Both times I received the pop up window to confirm going criminal. Some people showed me global, some did not. For the next time I will trash my sec status prior to the event to ensure I am outlaw from the start. I really don't know why it got all borked like that. Apologies.

Be honest - if you weren't TEST, it was kinda like a shooting gallery. From the ducks' point of view. :p

Still had a good time, and I learned a few things - I have a (much) improved strategy for the next event.

Well the first one won't have been the window to go GCC since you can agress a station / faction entity (someone else said you had tried to GCC by shooting the faction police) and not incur global criminal status, though doing it in highsec will feel roughly equivalent to it.

For the latter the only scenario I can think of is that in the lag between you pressing "yes" and you actually agressing, the target was no longer there or you had client performance issues which meant the command never happened. And/or the target went red before. (likely, since everyone was piling on rapidly). Even in heavy lag (and this wasn't, really) the GCC system doesn't need time to catch up - it's fairly absolute.

Just about everyone on the grid was red / GCC except you so the easiest thing to do is to actually shoot a yellow can.

Regardless, if you want to run a similar event just look in the top left corner. The GCC timer will be in RED, normal aggression timers are yellow.
