Yesterday night, we had some bored people and one decided to go through our low sec dynamic... More than that, things exploded... http://fcftw.eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=12577100

Well....

Actually it's been an interesting weekend.

Saturday started with us finding a horribly fit Nidhogger floating unpiloted at an offlined POS, we didn't have a pilot capable of flying it about and seeing it was a C3 the option would have been SD or blow it, so we decided to just blow it up.

A bit later we found twoTengus and an Isthar running sites, the Ishtar warped off before we got another cloaky point on grid due to his tank breaking, a bit later after the Tengus cleared most of the sleepers we killed, looted and salvaged their wrecks...

This distinct (but common) urge to farm by proxy persisted into Sunday where we found some Omens gas harvesting (?!?), they warped off initially while we were scanning their ladar sites down but promptly returned once the probes were pulled just to find that the sleepers has spawned. They decided to ignore the fact that there were probes about a few minutes ago and proceeded to clear the sleepers with a Legion. Having had ample time for the people logging in to join the fleet he melted under our guns...

Yesterday night while being a bit bored someone noticed the Archon in the low sec dynamic. He was duel boxing a mission with a drake or as he put it 'just killing time waiting for his gf'. When he got pointed he logged off the wrong account (logoffski doesn't work anymore...) and promptly metled so quickly that damage recieved got borked on the KM.

On a different note this came from the Recruitment department: US recruitment is closed until 16. April. all new incoming apps from US people will be deferred until then.

My understanding of it is that if you've applied already your application will be processed but any new incoming ones will be deferred. If you are interested in joining while at the US tz I'd strongly urge you to check out our alliance members TORAH as we fly frequently with them and you'll get exposure to how we fly to some extent.

Hey everyone. The wormhole corporations had a very good presentation to the people at Eve University a week or so ago, which featured a wee bit of bragging about how much fun it is to live in a hole. I thought I'd tell you about my day yesterday in order to entice some of you to apply to our corp.

For the bloodthirsty, I'd like to start by quoting our last month's kill record; Over 60 billion isk worth of destruction and lols.

http://fcftw.eve-kill.net/?a=home&m=2&y=2012

The raw numbers don't quite tell of the fun available tho. And you know it. Just like in every other corporation you get the fun out of the effort you put in and your ability and desire to go find some fun.

Yesterday we had a fun day, due to my rl job I get to be online a bit longer than some. So, the start of my day saw me looking over my pi planets, boring, but there's always the risk that someone has snuck in and is waiting at a planet in a cloakie loki waiting to do me wrong. The resources on a w/hole planet are far more abundent than in high sec, and they're nicely located for you to exploit. Course, if you've taken the course on PI, you already know that and are working to have good skills at extracting isk from any available source already. You also know that dscan is your freind and if you don't watch d-scan this happens. :blackeye:

Flay would flay me alive if I had asked him about that fit, the amazing thing is that it lasted as long as it did under the fire of those ships. (ebil cloakie loki ) The better thing is that the sacrifice of that hurricane to Bob led to a large number of us getting together to achieve revenge. Perhaps not against the people who ganked me, but hey, they'll do. Especially since my pod survived, unlike theirs.

The drake died before I landed, that Thanny died very quickly after we did. I did think of what some of the fitting gurus would have said about that fit too...   All in all a very good start to the day. In real life, I went to do some things then returned to help the corp run a few escalations in a C5. That is the pve that funds the corp and the ships that we fly. Of course that pve can turn into pvp quickly as it did with the drake and thanny, it did for us as well. But with good intel and a bit of care we were able to avoid the fate of the unlucky. \o/ We might not have killed any of those particular intruders, but they didn't kill us either and they're not in our hole anymore. On a side note, the acronyms provided by some ship types also provides some crude amusement; where else can you tell yer mum that you had two dics on a hole? (get your mind out of the gutter, you!)

The evening saw me returning from dinner to find that we'd killed a hauling bantam and found the home of these dastardly Quebecois Criminals. :) Our scouts noticed that they were preparing to move a viator and a prorator out of their system, and so began a long hunt. We allowed a number of their ships to move in and out of our hole, all the while reviewing our strategy for the gank. Finally, after an hour of watching we heard that the prorator was moving to highsec. A lame attempt at smacktalk didn't cause anything but laughter from the pilot of the Prorator, but he warped into our camp, then into a bubble on the other side of the hole. Of course, he jumped back into our welcoming arms, and another bubble - with polarity preventing his escape - we sent him on to highsec using the pod express. No, Bob didn't provide us with a loot pinata, but the kill was just as sweet as a plextral IMO.

Today is a new day, and although I started again with the PI, I doubt that Earl's going to have the same day that he had yesterday. If you want to know more, join our public channel at FCFTW Public or look up our website at http://fcftw.org/ . EU and Aussies are being actively recruited, as are those who play in those time zones. (uh oh, I has given away sekrit way of getting into corp) Hope to see you soon, either as a corpmate or a target. :P

There's a joke shared within my corp and a few others. Wormhole space is ruled by a mysterious god, named Bob. He controls connections for all of w-space and in his realm, you are at his mercy. It's silly, but you can't deny the inherent chaos of wormhole mechanics. We've got nothing else to blame, why not Bob?

It started as a pretty boring evening. We were sitting on our static connection with eyes on a manticore. He was trying to probe down the K162 we had just opened. We already had 5 or 6 people camped and waiting to convert his ship to slag. Can you tell we were a little bored?

Right about this time someone had the genius idea to check for new signatures. We checked not 20 minutes ago, but why not again? You never really know when something interesting might appear. Sure enough a K162 had just opened into our system. Our first scouting run showed 2 hics and a small handful of shield combat ships ready on the wormhole. Ask and ye shall recieve.

When we're just about formed up we send another scout through the wormhole. This time, they get vaporized trying to get more intel on the system as about 20 shield ships were now crowded around the hole itching for a fight. Being the kindly neighbors we are, we obliged.

The rest...well, let me pull out the slides for you.

Less than 10% structure on both those capitals. At least we documented it.

It was far from a perfect fight, but it represents my favorite part of wormhole space. Where else in the game can you randomly connect to a 20 man gang ready to drop capitals that wasn't there 2 minutes before?

All hail Bob.
