[Proposal] Integrate COSMOS with new agent system / Epic Story Arcs

BACKGROUND:
COSMOS missions are nearly impossible to find, let alone finish without using one of the walkthroughs. This makes the content inaccessible to most players, especially newer players who would benefit from the standings given from the lvl 1 and 2 missions.

PROPOSED SOLUTION:
I propose a journal tab similar to the “Epic Journal” series where your previous COSMOS interactions are detailed. CCP could (should) go one further and have this tab list a COSMOS starting agent for each faction that would walk players through, agent-by-agent lvl 1 – lvl 4 for each faction.
These missions could also be slightly modified to become one giant EPIC faction arc containing all COSMOS agents located in all regions of space…Did you know there are amarr COSMOS agents in Minmatar space?

SUMMARY:
This PVE content is already in-game, it makes sense that it should be presented in a way to make it accessible to all players. The current system lacks a method of tracking your current progress and is antiquated to put it politely.

Confirming that COSMOS do need some love...With CCP Zulu's latest Dev Blog maybe they will finish this feature set.

Some method of keeping track would be great. The journal seems as good a way as any.

Let's hope they look at (fix) this.

I was almost a year into the game before I stumbled across a blog post about the COSMOS missions. They definitely need some love.

Good proposal.

The Journal would definitely be a good way to track the completed Cosmos Agent missions.

I've often wished for a "Mission Journal History" even for Non-Cosmos missions .... maybe we could add History for all missions?

I'd generally prefer difficult content to be counter-balanced by increased rewards, but COSMOS could really use some love. Still, don't make it too obvious, COSMOS should remain something at least partly stumbled across exploring the universe for its own sake. Still, why not?

Confirming that COSMOS are difficult to track (note pages anyone?),

AND the COSMOS items need a revamp / re-balance. Take away the crazy material requirements please...just use the extra skill book requirement to make these items and lets start getting them in game!!!!!

Just ran some COSMOS agents a few weeks ago and it was awful...I have a notebook page full of notes and scribbles of who I've seen and finished and whose end item goes to the next agent ect.

I can only imagine what a pain it would be for the new players going through the same thing.

Cosmos missions/ sites I think is some of the best PVE content in the game, it has been known to be buggy in the past and has some serious issues such as only being able to complete content once and being locked out of the content if you get things wrnng and fail missions, in my opinion this content was better than the epic arcs, more communal and more involved.

I fully support expanding on this content, create a journal create more missions and allow it to be repeated every year or so.
