Refocus on what?
They haven't delivered anything, hell, they haven't even told us what they're going to deliver.

When CCP actually delivers I will be at the front of the line to offer my thanks and I'll be happy doing it.

There has just been far too much "talk" and empty words the last few months for me to get excited over more digital hot air.

Byshop I appreciate your point of view, it's perfectly reasonable to say that I'm overly optimistic, but do you really think this means nothing:

IMHO it is a cool move, of course it will mean more when they actually deliver, but just changing course is a big thing for any business. It doesn't happen very often.

Yeah sure. I'll do it. You've only got about 2 years worth of "make up" to do and then we can rep the statue. Otherwise, subscriptions and plex purchases should be thanks enough since, afterall, subscriptions and plex purchases didn't seem to sway you from going the route you've taken in the first place.

what exactly are they refocusing on? how to get redundance packages out to there staff? putting a man on the moon? paying off all the icelandic banks debts off?

oh right it dosnt say. at this time actions not words will speak for ccp, as the words have all been said by them before, and again, and again, and again

The point is, we have no idea what it means.

Until CCP actually tells us what their new focus is, and then SHOWS us, it could mean anything. We still have yet to see if CCP truly understands what we the players really want them to focus on.

I won't be excited until:
1) They tell us what direction they're steering the ship now.
2) We actually get where they said they were going to take us.
3) It's the tropical island we were looking for and not shiny ice sculptures in the arctic.

Assuming you start with Dominion, and go through and undo all the stupid from there forward, not only would I sit and rep the monument for a week straight, but I'd buy you a car. (Not a good car mind you... after all, you're already getting paid cash money to do the job anyway.) The CCP stupid has been long term, so a single patch is not enough to prove that the stupid has been cured.

All CCP has done the past year is basically screw up EVE and gave us lip service. Maybe when you guys deliver Incarna(WIS) "finished" and fixed the rest of the game that is broken we can talk about this "repping the monument" until then...

oh and how about fixing the stinking fonts in this game?!!!!!!!!!

CCP Torfi's blog was a hint, and I don't think I'm the only one who thinks that CCP Soundwave very much understands EVE and the playerbase, for example.

I also think that we have a good CSM that is capable of expressing our opinions to CCP in a constructive manner.

You are right that we don't have anything concrete, and I understand people have grown dubious (I'm much too young in EVE to be a bittervet myself), but still the situation is much brighter than before Zulu's blog.

Anyway I'm personally looking forward to further info, and the fixes- meanwhile, less poasting and moar flying for me o7

now they have showed they are indeed fixing font can you go around bashing people with a bat that think that CCP is wasting time fixing stuff that "doesn't need to be fixed like fonts"?
