We - of the glorious Hydra Reloaded - spend much time hunting down and destroying evil pirates and bad people all over New Eden! No Criminals shall feel safe on our watch!

If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire... The A-Team. (Cue music)

The Skunkworks is at your service for hurting bad people and, in fact, has been doing so for nearly a year now.

Bad people, good people, true neutral people...we're not picky. Give us something to shoot and something vaguely resembling a motivation and we're there.

edit: the bad guys are a lot more fun to shoot, though, because they're better at shooting back.

I second that bad people need to be punished.

Need like a bunch of guys who have super spaceship powers that swoop in out of the sky and pounce on bad people. Like a A-Team that comes in with a r8pe van, makes some custom explosives and makes cool traps. The second a bad guy logs on. BLAMO! no more spaceship. Justice served.

Don't bother, UA runs like little bitches the second anything combat worthy comes into system. If you do find them undocked (rare) make sure you have probes, cause sometimes they warp to safe spots and forget that they aren't aligned.

This. Once you get the adrenaline rush from trying to hunt these guys, you will get bored because you cant catch them. Trouble is, now you need more, and nuet targets suddenly seem more appealing. Enjoy your path to the dark side Blink

Welcome to the sandbox, OP. I mean this in the nicest possible way, btw - I like that you have a problem within it and try to solve it with the sand box tools at your disposal.

There are plenty of groups who are routinely looking for gate camps to bust, which has led to a very distinct decline in their abundance. Gonditsa is on most of these group's lists and gets visited by "vigilantes" on a regular basis.

Also, just in case you troll detectors are broken: Do not go to Aunenen. Tundragon is the most pathetic set of wannabe pvp'ers that I'm currently aware of but still rather nasty to encounter alone.

Fighting them will be very hard given that you don't have the necessary skills yet. That's why you should be cunning like a fox or a cat. You need to go back to the same system, taunt the same guys in local so they will come to fight you. When they warp to you, you must fly towards them really fast and activate the self-destruct mechanism of your ship. You need to be within 5km for the shockwave to reach their ships in vacuum and then if you've positioned yourself right, you will take their ships out. That's how you suicide gank someone.

Wondering if there are any loose associations ( not corporations) of EVE players that get together to take out some of the really bad players out there.

If not, hereby soliciting EVE players to see if there is interest in forming such.

To clarify: Got caught coming out of a gate, by a guy with a security index of -9.6, for unprovoked aggression. My partner had the same thing happen to her. We have about 2 months in to the game, and we don't belong to a large corp, so up to us to protect ourselves, and get satisfaction. I have no problem with that, but to handle people with a lot more experience and cash will require a group, not to mention, some way of finding out where they are, etc. In other words, some strategy and tactics.

I would propose a very flexible grouping ( almost just a list of names) of people interested in helping others and each other, willing to get together every once in a while to play vigilante. At that time, the worst offenders could be hunted down for a taste of their medicine. I would specifically exclude from this list anybody that gives fair warning before aggression, but am open to comments on this. My prime goal is to go after the guys that hide in the bush with alpha strikes, just don't see the fun there, and really believe that they use the game ( and all the other players) in a bad way.

1-There is nothing you can do about this, it's a normal game mechanic.

2-There is nothing CCP will ever do about this, it's a player driven content.

3-High sec is about game mechanic exploits/Abuses, if you don't know any you will die because they can and CCP don't care.

4-Nobody cares that you're 2 months old player, if a corp other than RvB or Eve-Uni wants you, odds are you are about to be scamed.

5-If you want to give those pubbies a taste of their own medicine you will never achieve this before at least 1 year or + because you will not have any decent skill or ability to fly properly a crap ship before 1 year of specific training. Even then you will never catch that guy because no matter how much you play he will always have more SP than you.
You will be able to achieve this only by weaselling or catch it with bigger numbers that he can bring, eve is about who can bring the bigger numbers.

I am also a new player, and I always enjoy PvP. But red vs. blue seems so artificial, and I'm not into pirating people who don't really fight back, as that is not really PvP so much as griefing.

The new update supposedly makes it easier to wardec, and makes it easier to create mercenary corporations. Maybe a side-effect of that, is that it will be possible to create vigilante corporations that seek to punish griefers? I'm less than 2 months into the game as well, but I would be interested in joining such a corporation for the above reasons.

With that fit, please stay docked. It is obvious you are a nub and have no concept of ship roles and damage bonuses. Just be glad the pirates relived you of burden having to fly such crappy fit.
